Q: How deep does a pole go into this?

It’s hard to get exact measurement because it would depend on the umbrella pole used. The ruler you see in video here is 1.5” thick in width and inserted it hits at 5.5” but it’s really 5.75” inches (there is a .25”space added to rulers edge). However as you can see the ruler is not pointed so it doesn’t hit the bottom. If it had a point it would go in further. Again it’s hard to say how much further but the full length is 8” to bottom of point on umbrella stand. Hope this helps.
