this is one of those tools you wonder...do I really need this? then you find out you can't live without it!

It’s a good tool for reaching things but I wish it folded or retracted. It’s length is cumbersome

I haven't needed to use this yet, but this is one of those tools you don't know you need it until you need it. I almost want to drop something down a drain to see if I can get it out with this! I had dropped a screw into something I was assembling and I could have really use this at the time. I decided to buy it to be ready for the next time my fat fingers drop a tiny screw into the abyss. I will avoid lots of hassle, aggravation and some swearing. The price made it a no-brainer purchase.

It broke right away but they sent me a brand new one right away. Replacement seems to be holding up so far.

We purchased this to use at work; sometimes our copiers jam and bits of torn paper collect behind the paper trays, where no human arm can reach. It's a vast improvement on our previous method (yardstick with double-sided tape) but unfortunately the light doesn't work (we've tried everything.) Still worth the price - that claw, and that it's magnetized, are very useful. We will be using it often around our business, I think - there's always a tiny something-or-other that's fallen in a place no one can get to.

The end of this product is too big to fit down any of my drains. I would have to remove the shower and sink drain covers and break the seals which I don’t want to do. It seems sturdy and flexible.
