Does the job.
I was skeptical, yet works like the pricey ones from your local spa shop.

They're in the hot tub....
I can't realistically determine if they're "working," nothing happens in the hot-tub; I suppose the chlorine levels staying steady at about half the recommended (without magic silver granules) and the water staying clear over an extended period of time is the only way to tell. I'll report in July...

Worked great on our Dimension One spa
This mineral sanitizer was a great generic alternative to the expensive name brand. We have a Dimension One spa and this worked perfectly with out spa. It kept our chemicals balanced and the spa clean for months! Will definitely order this one again.

Great Value on Mineral Sanitizer Containing Silver
For years now, spa manufacturers have been recommending the use of mineral sanitizers as a way to reduce the amount of chlorine or bromine it takes to maintain an effective disinfectant level in your hot tub water. The manufacturers say you can cut your target ppm (parts per million) of your chosen chemical to 1.5 or so, instead of the typical 3.I guess I believe them, since (1) they don’t require you to buy the mineral sanitizer from them, and (2) I like to think they favor anything that improves equipment life and the user experience. From everything I’ve read in the literature that came with our newest spa and what I’ve found online, copper and silver in trace amounts have proven water sanitizing power. So when I go to order a replacement mineral sanitizer for my spa, I look at those that clearly state they contain silver or copper. It’s also great when the product is listed as a “mineral sanitizer” and not just a hot tub mineral stick or mineral pack in a listing that doesn’t even use the word “sanitizer.”My thinking: If a product is not clearly called a “mineral sanitizer” then I as the buyer have no reason to expect that’s what it is.All of this is prelude to saying this ANSLCA mineral 2-pack is not only listed as a mineral sanitizer, but it is also clearly described as containing silver and activated charcoal. You can actually see the silver pieces through the openings in the case. These economical packs — each is good for up to four months — are super-easy to use. Just put one in the skimmer basket above your filter and its ions will be released into the water.I just got these, so I’ll be back sometime in the next few months with an update on performance.

Not good, don't buy!!!
These mineral sanitizers are way too heavy. They make the filter gate sink, thus defeating the skimmer. I bought them ahead of when I actually needed them, so buy the time I discovered the flaw it was too late to return them.Money out the window.

Affordable mineral cartridges with versatile shape
We used to buy the expensive proprietary mineral cartridges that fit our Spas specific filter. They seem to work well with our Spas built an ozonator, but the price was pretty high around $100 every six months or so.We have found that these generic offbrand mineral cartridges work almost as well as the more expensive name brand ones. They seem to have a little bit less material in terms of the metal/mineral impregnated beads, but they seem to help keep our water clean with reduced chlorine usage during at least the first 3 to 4 months when we add new water.I like the shape of these cartridges because I can just drop them in my strainer basket, not worrying about what particular model of spa or filter. I have been trying to find some specific part. These cartridges seem to be working well so far, but I will update this review if there are any longevity or durability issues after a couple more months.
