I got these in an attempt to protect individual trees from pocket gophers. I’ve seen some gopher activity around one of my Douglas firs this Spring. Installed one of these stakes and about 48 hours after installing it I found where a gopher decided to tunnel right next to the stake.The gopher might not like it, but certainly wasn’t overly concerned either. So I spread out the fresh gopher mound and installed two more around my tree of concern. Will see if three stakes positioned within 18” of each other will have any effect.

I live in the sticks on a forested mountain side. In short, I live in the animal's home territory. I have moles, chipmunks and snakes plus lots of other critters these stakes don't affect. I have the most trouble with chipmunks, moles and snakes. I'm always on the lookout for a way to ward them off! I've had good success with other devices like this, so I ordered this 8 pack of mole repellers. The work by vibrating the ground around them for up to 8 feet or so. I have 6 similar devices in my front yard. I got these to put in other problem areas. Like my garden and side yards. Since using the first 6 the moles and chipmunks have practically disappeared. Well, moved down toward my barn, anyway. I expect these mole repellers to do the same thing for my other problem areas, eliminating a 40 year headache! A word to the wise, though... Make sure you soak the ground where you'll be inserting them. You have put them all the way into the ground for the best effect, and that's nearly impossible with dry, hard ground! I deducted a star for the difficulty you can have putting them in the ground, but otherwise they WORK! Great product!

I had been put down these for 2 weeks.It is easy to use and seems to be well made.However, I don’t see that it’s doing what it supposed to do.All the creatures that is not supposed to be in my yard is still there.Pricey and not working.
