Way better than my old wood board
First time using a flocked bead board and I will never buy a plain wood one again. The surface is so nice to work on! Beads roll around less and it's quieter when you're moving pieces around. Nice sized work area so you can work on multiple projects at once. Works great for my purposes, very satisfied.

Nice to have a sturdy flocked bead board but has some flaws...
Over the years I've had several flocked plastic bead boards and I was disappointed with how easily they broke every single time. Since then I've switched over to bamboo bead boards, and I love them, but I've also missed the way the one the flocking helped slow my rounds beads etc. from rolling around while in the middle of designing. This little 8-5/8” x 11-7/8” bead board has the best of both worlds as it is flocked bamboo. The flocking covers the entire top and all sides, the only exposed bamboo is on the back. The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was the typical odor that I've come to associate with bamboo – it just takes awhile out in the open air for it to go down. Design-wise this bead board 10 bead compartments of various sizes scattered around the board, a straight channel along the bottom, 2 necklace channels with small pendant areas, and what might be 2 bracelet channels. All of the channels are marked in inches at 1/2” increments. The necklace and bracelet channels on the left is big enough to fit 8mm round beads, I doubt 10mm would fit. The necklace and bracelet channels on the right only go up to about 4mm round beads, 6mm did not fit. The straight channel at the bottom can definitely fit 6mm round beads. There are a few flaws that could have been done better including the back of the bead board not being quite as smooth as I would like, there are some small damaged areas in the flocking on the top, some of the measurements not being very readable, and the necklace/bracelet channels really could be bigger. However, I will still be using this bead board for smaller sized projects when I need the flocked surface. The size also makes it more portable which could be handy...

Better than expected.
It’s a high quality board and genuinely helps with organizing and creating your design in advance before threading your beads. As others have stated, one of the best parts of the design is that the long necklace doubles over itself to keep the board compact but also accommodating for longer necklaces. The flocked surface keeps everything in place and from being annoyingly mobile. It’s pretty and easily portable because of the size (though check the measurements to be sure it’ll work for your needs) and arrived in great condition. Looking forward to how quickly I’ll be able to make new creations with this, because it speeds up the process A TON. I also love that the side ‘wells’ allow for temporary storage for multiple types of beads and measuring the amount you’ll need. This thing rocks.

Better than craft store
I'm very impressed with these wood bead boards with the flocking. So much better than the flimsy plastic ones that you would get in a craft store. Has many sizes of necklaces and some areas to hold your beads while beading. This will get a lot of use, and I know it will hold up. Also, much easier to carry somewhere, rather than the plastic collapsing.

Very nice
I love this bead holder tray for making my beaded jewelry. My old one was thin cheap plastic that cracked in several places almost immediately. This is solid wood and very sturdy. This also makes it heavier so it won't flip over or scoot around on you. I chose the one with a flocked covering thinking it would be better for keeping the beads from rolling. It's perfect.I've placed various sized beads in it for the pic to show the versatility. Holds lots of different sizes and shapes, which is nice. The preprinted measurements are accurate. I measured them to double check. I also like the extra spaces provided to hold other items such as clasps, charms, etc. I didn't have this on my last one and I really like it.5 stars from me.

Nice board for casual jewelry making
This is the first time I had seen a beading board that was covered in soft material like this one, and that is the main reason I got this and what I feel is most important about it. I feel like this is a board I would rather use with some more important types of beads such as my crystal beads or more fragile shell or other beads. I did not have any larger size beads handy at the time of my review, but I have tried clay Heishi beads, and they just barely fit in the grooves. Anything larger is probably going to be a tight fit or not fit in the grooves at all, so that needs to be kept in mind. The holes for the pendants are more for smaller-sized pendants also, although a larger of those would not be a big deal to just sit in in place on top of the spot. I do like how the necklace ring doubles over beside itself so that the board can stay smaller and compact, yet you can still make an extra-long necklace if desired. This makes it easier to store the board if low on space. I do like the board. I was just surprised at how small the groove widths look compared to regular wooden ones I have tried. All of the grooves are fairly deep so the beads will not fall out easily, and the measurements are fairly easy to see. I did not feel the width of the grooves was enough to take off a star as I would normally use mostly smaller beads anyway, but it may be enough to take off a half or whole star for someone who does like to use larger sized beads. The board itself is not that large, so pay attention to their measurements when ordering if that could be important.

The Best Jewelry Boards
These jewelry boards are seriously the best. The measurements are on point and make making jewelry so much easier. I love these boards too much. Can't live without them.
