Fabulous ginger! 🫚
I love ginger drinks, both hot and cold. When I saw I had the opportunity to order this, I didn't hesitate. When it arrived, I could smell the ginger through the pack before I even opened it. 😍 The ginger comes dried and chopped coarsely in a 200g pack. The best before date on mine is March 2025.You can use the ginger as it it for teas/cold drinks or grind it further to make ginger powder. You can use ginger powder for drinks, cooking and baking etc. It's got nice flavour too. 😋The pack is big and will last you quite a while. I definitely recommend this ginger. I think it's fab. 🫚

Beautiful organic ginger
I use a lot of ginger in curries, especially Mary Berry's utterly delectable Malayan chicken curry. I often find using fresh ginger inconvenient because it can be difficult to peel and to chop finely. I have therefore resorted to buying preserved ginger or even sugared ginger in the past, but such products can be expensive and are not necessarily the healthiest option. This packet of dried ginger root completely solves this problem and I can vouch that it really packs a punch. Only a small amount is required, given its potency.I have so far used the ginger whilst making curry and it added a wonderful warm and fiery flavour (I might have used a bit too much). The fact that the ginger is organic is just the icing on the cake. Very highly recommended indeed.

Not properly ground
This ginger root comes in a resealable pouch so it's very convenient for storage. The dried ginger is strong and flavoursome when used in curries. It has an earthy aroma. If used in soups its okay as long as the soup is blended. If used as it is, from the packet, it isn't palatable as it comes as strands in mouthfuls. Therefore next time I would buy finely ground ginger root.

Autumn/winter essential: Good for teas, infused cocktails. Ect.
I make my own tea blends using drawstring teabags. Tastes similar to fresh chopped ginger in hot lemon water or my ‘mulled wine’ inspired tea blend. Will decant into an airtight glass jar, but resealable bag works fine. You can figure out how much to use based on personal preference. Less is more for me, bag will last the autumn/winter.Hope that helps.

Great taste, great aroma, perfect for infusions
This is great! Decent shelf life in a resealable packet, and cut rather than powder, so PERFECT for infusion. I blend it with cardamon, turmeric, cinnamon and clove and it's (IMO) absolutely lovely. In making this brew, I used only a small amount of each spice, including the ginger, and found the flavour to be spot on - which, for me, herbal tea bags rarely manage.I'm really pleased with this - it's strong enough in taste that it's going to last a good long while as I need to use so little in each serving, and it's organic to boot.A fine product.

flavoursome sifted dried ginger
This bag of cut and sifted ginger is handy to use than whole ginger pieces from the supermarket. Simply grab some while you cook. They are also more flavoursome than ginger powder. I love its strong, warm and spicy flavour. They are dry and fresh.

authentic taste and flavor!!
I normally cut the ginger and then brew it in my tea. Now, the whole process is replaced by just adding a pinch of this dried ginger. I mean, it is so convenient! And the taste is not compromised at all. It tastes exactly like ginger and has the aroma too. I love the flavor, and the health benefits are all an added bonus.
