This safe/lockbox is nice looking and seems to have quite a bit of security. I think it would work well for less valuable things but not high dollar items. It is strong and well built as far as it goes, and it looks good. I like it for the level of protection it offers.

Could be more sturdy but works for what I use it for.

This safe is a decent size and good enough for my needs. The safe can be opened using a combination or keys. It comes with 2 keys and they are the round type, not like your traditional house keys. It also comes with a small and thin fireproof bag that can be used to protect smaller items and documents. For the price, I don't expect a bank vault and I'm sure any professional burglar would be able to get inside given enough time. The question is how much time is needed. It's not heavy enough that a burglar couldn't just lift it and run, however, there are holes inside that you can use to bolt to your floor or ceiling. Nobody is lifting it up if it's bolted down. That leaves only drilling and prying to open the safe. I have alarm service and after breaking in, if the safe can deter the burglar or keep them busy for just long enough until the police arrive then I think it's done it's job.

i really cant say anything about this safe, unfortunately it arrived broken. i set it up and it just wouldn't lock in any way even with the key. maybe it was beat up in shipping or maybe a QC issue. but if shipping did this, than thats a bad sign... a new shake to unlock feature?

Put this in the back of my closet because we rent or was unable to install it in a wall. I really like that it came with a fireproof pouch. I have littles in my house and they tend to get into my papers usually with crayons. This keeps my very important documents so much more secure. Did require batteries to get the setup started. Pleasantly surprised at how easy setup was. This is a good basic safe to keep your valuable documents papers and a little bit of jewelry secure.

Not sure how to state this but it’s better than nothing. I installed this in the basement making it harder to access, less exposure to fire but if there was a water problem - that would be its greatest exposure.Lightweight (I could lift and carry, but it’s semi hidden so I rather have this deterrent than not. Hoping I don’t have to test out the other features. But I sealed documents water tight just in case.

This safe is overpriced for what it is. The walls are thin and flimsy. It's not waterproof or fireproof. The hardware used to bolt it to the wall could be removed by a thief and the safe carried away. The mechanics of it work well. You do need 4 AA batteries (not included). If you lose power to the keypad, it has a key and a 9V battery override. This safe is only useful to protect items from being stolen by a casual thief, i.e., a guest in your home or service workers, etc.

Really heavy duty and sturdy safe. Large size, good weight to it. Really nice safe. Totally recommend.
