Due to a plumbing issue in my house, I needed to find an alternative to my second bathroom. The Ann Katy Upgrade XL is just what I needed until my regular toilet can be used again.I am not a small person, but I am nowhere near 400 pounds so I took a chance and ordered this along with a box of bags and one of "poo gell."Although I was a bit nervous to sit on something that folded, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this did NOT collapse under me, as a few reviewers mentioned. Along with being surprisingly sturdy, it does NOT leak and is easy to keep clean. After use, I pour in a packet of "poo gell" and remove the bag. Since I am really determined to keep this process as neat as possible, I use the attached strings to pull the used bag out and then tie a knot as close to the bottom of the bag as possible. The toilet , although lower to the ground than I would prefer, is large enough that I can sit on it comfortably. A quick wipe with a baby wipe or sanitizing wipe is more than enough to make sure the smooth seat is clean. I am amazed that something that folds up so easily and fits inside a fairly small travel bag can be so effective. The accompanying travel bag is large enough to hold a box of bags and another of gell while the toilet is open for use. There is also a nice pocket on the side of the toilet that can easily hold an extra bag and a couple of packets of gell. This product made a difficult situation much more manageable.

Bought this toilet to take with me traveling with my husband who’s a truck driver. It’s been great for emergencies or when we have had to park where there’s no facilities. It's been very comfortable to use and folds up easily. I’m not a skinny girl and it holds my weight well. I will say the top lid is a bit flimsy and the corners are starting to wear a little but nothing that’s a big deal. I will say I am struggling to find bags that fit it the once’s Amazon suggested I’m able to stretch enough to fit but it’s a pain to have to fight with them to make them fit so my search continues.

This is a solid portable potty. It definitely holds us heavier folk. We had a 6' 345lbs person use it and they felt it was solid and fully supportive. It came in handy on the side of the road when we had a child who needed to "go" right away and the nearest restroom available was hours away. I just wish the setup could be faster, but that's just a small thing compared to how great this potty is. The fact that it collapses makes it compact and easy to transport. The only thing I would suggest is that they make the bag bigger or add pockets to the outside to transport sanitation wipes, extra potty liners, toilet paper etc.

This product is not just a portable commode. It is well built, quick to set up, and sturdy too. It can serve as a trash receptacle, seat with the cover up, footrest with the cover down, and of course a portable commode. On top of that it is good looking too! The easy fold/unfold, and handy zippered case makes everything ready to go in a short time. So lots to like!

The Ann Katy arrived inside an Amazon delivery bag, no protective wrappings. It is easy to put together and comes with two flimsy bags, that I would not trust as a lining for a toilet. I know that you add a bad to hold what you're putting in, however, the two bags are flimsy, I'm replacing them with a more sturdy bag that's sure to be leak proof. The Ann Katy feels like a heavy cardboard covered in cloth, not too different from cubes you might use on a shelf. It is sturdy enough to hold my weight and is comfortable. Normally I would bring my own DIY bucket camping which has a soft seat and a lid on it too, but I have limited packing space and I'm flying out. The convenience of having something portable, easy to pack, is most helpful. I'll have to let you know how it holds up at the end of the summer. It does appear sturdy as a seat, has a lid, the traveling bag it comes in has a handle so it's easy yo carry, and lightweight. I plan on setting it up in its own private area when camping, hopefully all goes well. Update later.

This is Not made from High Density Polyethylene and plastic, it is cheap vinyl covered thick cardboard. Will not survive a night out in the rain, I bought this as the description clams it is waterproof and made of plastic so it should be able to be left out uncovered, butt nope it will not survive being left out. Not that I need a 440lb weight rating but comon no way this will hold that much weight. Requesting a refund for false advertising.Feeling very ripped off.
