Cylindrical metal poles and rungs, plastic pieces to connect them, with thin fabric for aesthetic. The colour in the add is close to what I got.The metal poles just run through sleeves in the fabric and press into the holes into the plastic. Construction is straightforward though time consumingThe shelves are supported horizontally by short poles (2 in sleeves, 2 more under the fabric), the height is from the long poles. Didn't fit in my space (due to my bad measuring) so I reversed that. You can configure this any way you want at all, I made short but long shelves. I only used 3 poles per shelf, and I have probably enough left over to make a second set of drawers.It's cheap stuff, but plenty strong (yes, even for books as advertised). And it doesn't look half bad at all, really good price for the stuff you get. Not into reviewing, but was genuinely impressed. Thanks

Just be aware that it is unstable and fragile. But does the job well for what I was looking for.

Excellent quality great product easy to assemble

A bit fiddly to put together but a nice unit and sturdy once it's together and stronger than I first thought it would be, the cross bar's on each shelf are strong and solid and capable of taking a reasonable weight on them .I am using mine for DVD's and I've got quite a few on each shelf (24 ) am I pleased with the unit yes I am .Don't be put off by the thinness of the material it is stronger than it looks.

This has made a great short term shoe rack when away from home. Tricky to build but sturdy enough fopr the money.

Ideal for somewhere to place my craft work while it's drying. Excellent, lightweight, storage. Great value and so easy to put together. Took me 25 minutes!
