Surprisingly good for the price!
This is definitely not a professional horn. But for ~$50, it plays surprisingly well, and it comes with a case! If you've never played a bugle/trumpet/cornet before, this may be a difficult instrument to learn on. For a more experienced player who is looking for an inexpensive horn to take into the field for bugle calls, this instrument is highly recommend!

The bugle works....the case received does not
I liked the bugle, I could even play it, I understand some people could not. The (gig bag) or case I received had a defective zipper. I sent the seller pictures of the problem, he offered me 5% of the sales price meaning $2.50 as compensation. Do you know anyone who will repair or replace a bugle gig bag zipper for $2.50? - I don't. I returned the bugle due to the case issue.

Over priced for a barely functioning instrument
The bugle came in good shape with a neat little case, but was not in tune AT ALL. I couldn't even play the Mess Call, let alone Taps. It's more one of those no-name products created by some random Chinese factory. I would recommend putting in the extra $30 and buying the Regiment Regulation Bugel (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CEIZUQA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Doesn't come with a case, but the bag it comes with does protect it fairly well from scratches and very well against dirt and dust.
