Pretty but a bit narrow
I hoped that this dish would take a standard block of butter but in fact the lid narrows towards the top, so that it sits on the butter rather than clearing it. We now cut the butter in half and it's fine, but it was a bit of a disappointment, as otherwise it is very pretty.

It’s adorable. I’m hoping it’s not going to prove very fragile and chip or break easily. But so far I’m very happy with it.Update: it’s made it through several cycles in the dishwasher and frequent use from my three kids, and it’s still perfect.
