This grommet helped stop a mystery rattle on a Honda Fit. The plastic looks a bit cheap but hey it worked. Now I have a lifetime supply of grommets since I only needed one.

FIL destroyed MIL'S hood prop. After straightening the rod out and putting this in, it works again. Yeah, he put the hood prop in the wrong place and it got stuck. I pInted around the correct spot with red paint. Hint: put the prop hinge on a screw driver, place in the hole, strike with a hammer to insert. Impossible to just "push" in
