Great overall. Pros: Very good picture at any light level, even at night. Easy to set up, took 5 minutes.Lots of camera features to set, although not the best app layout. Don’t be cheap, buy the 5G camera. The 2.4G needs to be close to your router or it won’t connect. Great customer service! They follow up on any question. They are very helpful!Cons: there needs to be better technical data on camera connections. The camera output is a 4’ USB-A so you will probably need a USB extender if your power outlet is further than that. Also know the power adapter and the USB cable total length is about 3” and will stick out of your outlet and will need to be water proofed. Buy it!Buy it! BTW the bulb camera is pretty good too.

NOT SPONSOR... I had this for about 6 months now. There were a few bugs in the beginning but LaView fixed the issue with an update. What make this a decent purchase. Be warn this is a wired system and can not be extended with a USB extension unless it's 120V extension cord.Video Quality 4.5 Stars -- Enough to see but can not see with 20 feetQuickness Logging in 4.5 Stars -- This is my go to camera before Ring and WyzePan & Tilt -- 4 Stars -- Some lag sometimes ... But does track motion .Night Vision 4 Stars -- Enough to see againNotifications - 4.5 Stars -- Pretty dang quickSpeak and Mic -- No opinion never need to use it.Spotlight --4.0 Stars Bright enough and not super bright to blind you. But Alexa can not turn on light.Smart Home Devices - 4.5 Stars -- Great with Alexa. and will stay on until you say go home.Best of all with this is No Monthly fee's. The Motion detection has a fixed spot where you set it too and will return to original spot where you set it too. Tracking motion is sweet. Works as a Security Camera that wont turn off on your spare phone or tablet. This is my 24 hours monitor camera. Ring camera's allow to stay on for 10 -12 minutes and then you have to reconnect. Did I mention you can have multiuser at the same time. In other word. The second person and you can see what going on while that person is somewhere else. You won't get kicked off like Arlo. Only if Wyze had a Outdoor Pan Tilt camera then this can be a challenge. Great Wifi Camera !!

Sometimes you just don't know how good something is until you put it side by side with something else that's supposed to be comparable. After living with a more expensive PTZ from a competitor for a while, I am upgrading my review of this one to 4 stars.Pros: Overall, it works very well for the price. Tech support is friendly and responsive. And it can be part of a completely integrated home automation system. Pairing with the phone app and wi-fi network is very straight forward. But where this camera really shines (pun intended) is the human detection/filtering. Simply superb. Very few if any false alarms and very reliable at differentiating humans vs other motion. And that's not even relying on cloud based "AI" detection. Strictly device side. Blew away the competition.Cons: The app that goes with it definitely needs work. Poorly organized GUI is difficult to navigate. Takes some real getting used to. Live or recorded video streaming does a lot of buffering. Intermittent lag also affects remote control functions. Zoom is digital, not optical, so resolution diminishes when zooming, making it less attractive to use. Access is limited to only the cell phone app.Wish list: A web server for PC access. I'm certain this could added very easily with a simple firmware upgrade. This would also open the door to more advanced features and configuration such as ftp upload, multiple saved camera angles, etc., also off loading some of the more difficult to find and less often used settings from the phone app.Overall, I like the camera and can definitely recommend it.

Ordered two of these units. Setup one and on the 2nd day it died, no power. Since these are USB powered I tried multiple USB units. Still no power. Could not test the camera cable since it was attached to the camera unit; bad design. When it did work the picture was good during the day and at night. But the motion detect was not more that 15 feet and the tracking did not always work when motion was in front of it. Sound detection was very sensitive, even on the low setting so I had to turn it off to avoid so many notifications. The mobile app is a little difficult to navigate but got the job done. Very basic with no REW but did have a 2X FFW play option. I had to poke around the mobile app to find some specific features like flipping the image. I then opened the second unit to setup and it was a USED unit in the box and so I did not waste time setting it up since it was previously returned and I am sure it was not checked out, just put back on the shelf to resale. Quality control should have checked/tested all returns before reselling. Sending both units back and will order/test another brand.

We were extremely surprised at the quality of the image stream. The accompanying app is easy to use, and I like the fact that we can have it on multiple devices. Only downside is that it does pick up on moths and frequently shows movement because of it. But beyond that, we are pleased so far. The cord/plug is obviously not really designed for outdoor use, but we installed an outdoor outlet cover to correct the problem. We have not installed an SD card yet but plan to. We bought two of these units and also placed one inside aiming at the door. Seems like it works great so far. The siren feature works when pressed but is not as loud as anticipated. Still does the job. The unit itself is a good quality and I foresee ordering more units. We liked the company so much we will be ordering more!

Setting up the camera was a breeze, amazing quality and worth every penny.
