As an experienced bee keeper I THINK THIS IS A BRGAIN AT A GREAT PRICE Everything came as shown. Every one of the 100 pieces of the frames fit without need of any adjustment, and those complaining about nails, no nails required, just use wood glue. As for the windows, I have had other boxes with glass windows that I liked, so I hot melt glued glass on he inside. Otherwise either don't open them or pay more $ for another box without windows. At 44 pounds it shipped free across country in 7 days.

What I didn't like is that it came with only a single view port (on one long side not both sides) and there was no plexiglass for the view port... so when you open up the view port the bees come out. It was missing the wooden knob for the viewport door (tried going through a lot of email hoops to get the know sent, but finally gave up). It was very well wax-coated, looked nice, and other than fixing the two end pieces so frames would fit it was nicely crafted and went together easily. I have router table skills so fixing the groove to accept the frames was not a problem for me... but for others this could have been a deal breaker. NOTE: I purchased two of this item and both had same identical issues and problems except one was not missing a knob.

Love the price, can not beat it. I would easily give this 5 stars, but the frames needed just a bit of sanding to fit smoothly into the box. In case that might put you off, just have the heads up. It really wasn’t much work to sand them just a little, and the price makes it well worth a few minutes of your time.

Gets the job done and easy to assemble. The window is great but doesn’t really do much for doing inspections in the hive. It only lets you see one frame. Where this window is, would normally be another handle to move and lift the hive. I’ve often wished that handle was there in place of the window

I got two of these. They were extremely well coated in wax. They aren't made of the highest quality wood (pretty but flawed) you have to be extremely careful putting them together or you'll get cracks in the wood. I got a crack in both boxes. I predrilled and used screws to secure the boxes around the cracks and then put more bee's wax on the cracks, as far as I'm concerned this was fine. The doors on the sides are kind of neat, but it didn’t take long for my bees to glue them shut. As long as I got a good price I'd buy these again.

Bought 2 at the same time. Boxes went together like a breeze, fit well, heavily waxed. First 10 frames went together better than most US made frames, foundation was waxed well. Second 10 frames someone fell asleep on the machine and did not trim top bars of frames properly causing me to have to trim each one. Overall I am very impressed with quality and price. I will definitely be buying more.

I was so excited for this. It went together easily. The joints are nice and tight. Very nicely waxed box.But as you can see from my photo, the end of the box is probably not the right length so the frames don't all fit. The first half fit as they should, the second half are too long and won't sit all the way down. I thought it was my mistake when putting the box together but it's the wrong way for it to be my fault. The back piece (opposite the window) is not long enough. If I measured, I bet this isn't perfectly square.I'll reach out to the company and see what the fix is and update with the results.

Well, I was really happy about this and I thought it was a great price until I realized it didn’t come with nails to put it together.
