I have a wall mounted lighted make up mirror but it is not strong enough. I purchased this one and just suctioned it to the existing mirror and it is great for magnification and the lights help too.

Seems obvious, but if you want to see your skin close up, this mirror will definitely do the trick, and I have to admit, I was a bit horrified that it magnifies so well! I have found I have a bit of a love-hate with this mirror in that I hate to see my pores so up close and personal, but I can't stop looking (kind of like a bad movie). I was already a face picker, so I found that purchasing this just encourages it even more, so it is definitely a double-edged sword for me.Overall, this mirror does everything I wanted and an affordable price. Unlike other reviews, the mirror I received, does not have a battery compartment and does not light up. However, it does and has three suction cups so I can easily stick it to my vanity mirror for those times I am compelled to tweeze, apply, pick, etc. Certainly not the mirror's fault!The only downside is that you do have to lean very close ( for me 2-3 inches away) to get your face into full reflection and view. With the configuration of my bathroom countertop and mirror, this makes for a very uncomfortable posture. However, you can move the mirror or use it as a handheld mirror if you desire.

I am so happy to have found the perfect travel mirror!I can not tell you how many inferior mirrors I have purchased in the past just to find out they're so distorted, except maybe the inner inch or so in which I could kinda see my eye. As time has gone on I needed to get a stronger and stronger mirror and when you get to a 15x it gets nearly impossible to get a clear travel mirror.This mirror is super clear, no distortion, and the viewing area is large. I can actually put on my makeup in it. Follow their directions to start at the distance away, and move out, it really helps to see if it is a clear view for you.The suction cups are really strong. I kinda felt I needed to hold it on the mirror the first use because I was afraid it would fall. Nope! I had to pry it off the mirror because of the suction is super strong.In the past I was toting my big plug in mirror all over the map just to put on makeup. It was taking up so much space in my suitcase, but I was desperate. NO MORE! This takes up so little space, it's light, and works like a charm. More space for my clothes, etc... now! I won't leave home with out it in my travels!!Now I only have to remember to remove it from the hotel mirror before checking out, I wish there was an alarm on this baby so I wouldn't forget it. I'm thinking of ordering another one just in case I do forget it.When you find something you love, it's nice to have a back up.I can totally recommend the purchase of this, and no, no one gave me a thing for this review.

Bought this to use for my eyebrows, because I have the efficiency of a toddler. You know how they say they’re not twins, they’re sisters (or maybe it’s cousins, idk)? Well mine are damn near strangers by the time I get done with them. My beautifully full, arch of wonder has to share a face with my shabby, over plucked, nearly spherical disaster of the 90s. The sisters have now been introduced and are closer than ever.But buyer beware! If you have even the slightest proclivity for picking… this mirror will be your own personal hell. Every tiny speck of nothingness will scream at you to be picked and plucked until one day you wake up and wonder if you were on the bender of a lifetime. So, unless you have the determination of a virgin in hell, you might rethink this purchase. Otherwise, happy plucking. Oh, also if you pluck too long your literal eyeball will ache in pain from the X947 magnification. Cheers!

I feel like this mirror has a lot of area, but most of it is not usable. This is because your eye can only see so far into it. For example, if you have it right in front of your face, and you can see your eyes clearly, you will not be able to see your nose as clearly, and your chin even less. You will have to maneuver it, same as with a small mirror, and angle it lower, then strenuously roll your eyes downward and try to focus on the spot you are trying to see. The further from your eyes on your face, the more uncomfortable it will be.That is just the nature of a concave mirror and there is nothing anyone can do about it. But having such a large mirror, or a small parabolic dish, plays with your head, making you think you should be able to look into those obscure blurry areas, and so you waste more time trying to angle it.I use my 3" mirror more effectively and since it gets rid of all the useless real estate, it seems clearer and crisper.I'm still giving this 4 starts because I love that even though it is large, it still fits in my purse, and I can prop it up on a pillow more easily that my little one...because it is large. The size makes it easier to hold.

This little mirror is great. The suction cups hold up well. It is clear. I often take it with me to hotels. This is my second one since I accidentally left one behind.

SO great for travel or home. 15x is perfect magnification.
