It arrived folded in an envelope (the folded form was not prominently advertised, though one product photo - in hindsight - does appear to show folds). The folded size is 8-3/4 inches by 7-3/4 inches, which happens to be the size of each month in the unfolded layout. The paper is a heavy, non-glossy stock, writable, and is approximately 35 inches long by 23 inches tall.One of our concerns (given that this is going on a painted wall) is whether or not a conventional sharpie marker would bleed-through and mark the wall. A sharpie test did not bleed through. A set of 8 foam double-sided adhesive dots was provided, but we opted to hang it with thumbtacks as we did not feel like testing to see if the adhesive dots would pull the paint off the wall.

This is pretty good calendar organizer for either the wall or desk. Very easy to read the dates and months. Great product and highly recommended.
