The Tiiwee Glass Break Alarm – an intelligent and simple method to keep burglars out. The glass break alarm will secure your glass windows and glass doors. It can be stuck directly to the surface, and the slim design allows for it to be used on sliding doors and windows as well. The internal vibration sensor detects specific frequencies that are normally associated with the vibrations that go along with breaking glass. If that happens, a 95dB Alarm is activated. The alarm will stop automatically after one minute and will then return to active mode. It can also be switched off manually by a switch. The glass break alarm can be set to two different sensitivities depending on local circumstances (HI/LO). Passing heavy traffic or loud noises can trigger the window alarm, and that is why advise to start with the lowest (LO) sensitivity. The window alarm is developed for private household use. Not I that desire to be burgled simply to test these alarms, but in using the 'test' button, they does not sound very loud, and so I do not know how effective they will be in the event of a forced entry via the windows. The alarm automatically silences after one minute, and can be easily switched off anyway by a trespasser. I understand that the idea is to scare off and deter would-be burglars, but it didn't even get the attention of our cat! I'm just thankful I didn't pay a fortune for them. I'll put them up on my windows anyway since I paid for them. The only positive thing I can say is that there are nicely designed from an esthetic and practical standpoint, in terms of the user friendly design, and are smaller than I had imagined and very slim.

Nice design, shame it's not fit for purpose!
I like the design and ability to test the battery status, but the bottom line is that this product is a waste of money! If you want to use them in an outbuilding, the feeble cheeping noise might just attract the attention of any roosting birds - but you certainly won't hear it whilst tucked up in bed asleep, and any would be burglar would only get caught if they'd stopped laughing long enough to leave the crime scene.My advice- look elsewhere if this is the type of alarm you need.

Just about ok
Rubbish doesn't do what's its meant to. Had to smash fist on glass next to it to get them to respond. Works but there arevmore sensitive and better on the market.

Not worth it
Terrible - none of the 4 in the pack worked. I suspect the battery is gone. It’s a Lithium ion battery (the flat circle one used in watches) - so tough to get replacement too

Nicely designed but could be improved
Nicely designed but could be improved; the alarms are not very load and could also be enhanced with an external warning sticker (which I've seen on other types).

Neat window break alarm.
The alarms are very neat and slim and I hope will prove to be a deterrent. The alarm volume is good and would be enough to warn us of an attempted breakn.
