Best substitute for coffee
This is absolutely the best coffee substitute I have tried and I have tried many on the market since I am unable to tolerate traditional coffee due to health reasons. It tastes delicious and I recommend it to anyone missing coffee.

Great coffee substitute
Surprisingly lovely! I didn’t have high expectations, but this tastes really nice and is a very good substitute for coffee. Tried it with milk and water, like instant and I have also made a latte with it which is also lovely. I like my coffee weak and therefore only use a half a teaspoon.

Tastes good
Happy to have found an alternative to coffee, which was triggering GERD.

Tastes almost like decent instant
Bought this for my gf who has been banned from caffeine by her doctor. She really likes this alternative, we had been trying a cheaper brand that she had to tolerate but she really likes this one. It’s a bit pricey but it’s very much worth it. Recommended

So so
If you.re trying to give up coffee it's an OKish substitute but unfortunately it didn't hit the spot and I'm back on the coffee

Great taste, as close to coffee as it can get
I have been doing intermittent fasting (the 16:8 method) for the past 2 and half years and have been drinking unsweetened coffee in the morning. I have decided it is time to decrease the coffee consumption and have moved to chicory coffee substitutes. One of the issues with some of the brands of organic coffee alternatives is the presence of sugar that is not compatible with fasting. For example whole Earth organic no caf has barley and figs added to the chicory that adds carbohydrates, of which sugar. Chikko not coffee is chicory only and therefore does not break my morning fast. Compared to Whole Earth’s no caf, the taste is much closer to coffee. It especially leaves a lovely caramel after taste in the mouth. The main con is the price, £11.20 per tub. I have now moved to purchasing lots of 6 tubs, which comes significantly cheaper, at £32.20. Via Subscribe & Save, a pack of 6 tubs is £27.37, hence £4.56 per tub.

Perfect coffee replacement
I “lost” my caffeine tolerance after Covid and had to settle into a life full of herbal teas—which are nice and healthy, but I really missed the texture of coffee. It’s not as light as water or herbal drinks, yet still not food. I couldn’t find anything quite like it, apart from hot chocolate, but that’s full of sugar and not something you want to drink all the time.My mum has been drinking chicory for years, but I always resisted trying it. Then one day I did—and what a relief! It had that satisfying texture I missed, without the coffee taste or smell. It was surprisingly close, so much so that I found it a bit confusing at first.I did a bit of quick research and ordered myself a tin, which I finished in just 2–3 weeks—I drink buckets of it! I absolutely love it. My parents have now switched to the same brand, and even a few of my friends have started drinking it too. I’ve now bought a box of six tins, since it works out much cheaper—and definitely hooked!
