Much better value than the “official color changing cars” and work well. The color change is quick and changes back as described.

They take a little longer to activate compared to the hot wheels, but once they get going they work even better. I found them to maintain the color longer. Also the paint schemes look cooler.They work great in tracks as well, just as fast and built great. Kid beat the crap out of them and they still haven’t broken. Just wish they had more than 6 designs, so I could order more.

Tons of fun once we realize that we have to put ice cubes in our cold water in order for it to work. Regular cold water doesn’t work like it use to in the 90s. My 3 1/2 year old lovesss them. He keeps thanking me for getting them for him.

Complete and utter false advertising. Got them for my son to play with in the tub. Did not change colors at all.

Its hard to find good, quality toys my kiddos get excited about. I just give them a cup of ice water and they are happy to get into the bath with these color changing cars.

Issue is water needs to be fairly hot to the touch in order to change back from the cold color. Ice water is needed for the transition to the darker color. Be prepared for clean up if indoors. Excellent quality, the bottom of the car is metal and the color change part is plastic. Very solid cars. Can be compared to leading brands and for the price it has, this is a deal at $2 per car. I imagine it is more suitable for a 4+ year old as they might have better understanding as to how these work and may be more patient than a 3 year old.

The Metal Machines Series 2 Color Change Mini Die-Cast Cars are very cool! My son had so much fun playing with these and watching the cars change colors. The colors on the cars change quickly after they get water on them. All of the cars have different features and colors on them. We will be getting more of these to add to my son's collection!
