The moment I opened the bag a very toxic smell came out and I started coughing.Is too thin and badly done and it has no adhesives at all.Avoid it! go get something better at your local Home Depot

It is hard to use with loose fiber glass fell off the band. And you have to wear glove to handle it to avoid itchy hand after handling it. And mouth mask is also recommended.

There's not much you can say about fiberglass pipe insulation other than if you need it, this will do the job. I deducted a star because the claim that it's one-inch wide is a bit of a stretch. I measure it at about 3/4" of a inch thick, which, of course, will get compressed further when you wrap it. Still a good item and a good value.

The insulation comes off of the foil backing very easily. You have to be gentle when using this product. If you are wrapping pipes in an open area then this will work just fine. But if you are in a tight space then expect the insulation to come apart. The insulation used is extremely itchy so don't get it on you at all. Good advice for any insulation, but this is particularly rough.

I tried to buy a roll of a similar insulation at my hardware store and it was the same price for half the length! This is a ton of roll for such a low price, I honestly thought it would be thin and very low quality. I as pleasantly surprised though as it is nice and thick and the foil side is not super flimsy. You get two nice big rolls that have to STUFFED into their packaging. The insulation itself has held up great on the AC lines in my attack and in my opinion, has helped a lot over the summer to keep the AC running nice and efficiently.

This fiberglass 2 pack is perfect for wrapping pipes when insulation is needed. The durable reflective backing flexes easily to wrap this insulation around pipes snugly and is easy to trim down to length needed with standard scissor. A great product that has helped us while renovating our basement bathroom.
