Went on vacation recently and was subjected to an outdoor pizza oven. The dough was made fresh and the pizza was done in 2-5 minutes. I love pizza so I thought I’d take a chance on this electric oven. I couldn’t be happier. I made up fresh dough which took me 15 minutes let it rise for an hour and put it in a sprayed 12 inch stainless pizza pan. I put all of my favorite toppings on. I preheated the oven full blast for about 8-10 minutes. I then put the pizza in and it was cooked thoroughly in about 7-8 minutes (both sides). Best pizza I’ve had in a very long time. Just as good as the wood fired pizza I had last week. I am so sick of many of the pizzeria crusts that have a cardboard consistency. This is the pizza of my old neighborhood. Great oven and the price is right!!

You can make some good food in this. But it gets really hot after a few minutes. Always Pre heat to keep a steady temp.

So I've bought a few pizza ovens. In the past. They've all been good, but I'm telling you this one right here. Right out the shoot has been the best. It's very easy to use simple. That's what I love about it.

Read the review here from a verified purchaser that description was misleading in that it had no upper heating element. The model I got directly from the Vevor website does indeed have heating elements on the top and the bottom.Yes, I got this exact same model with both knobs (one knob for time, the second for temp adjustment) and the 12” size. Single deck. EXACT same model. Do note that the temp readings on the dial are in Celsius. No Fahrenheit number readings. You have to use the formula of Celsius number in time times 9/5 and plus 32 to get the Fahrenheit reading for reference.Makes sure you absolutely remove ALL plastic sticky covering on the item before use. This includes being extra diligent around screws where tiny pieces of the plastics can get stuck underneath.The item appears to be well made and has worked very well so far. It gets plenty hot enough. As noted there is no pizza stone and the wired rack is where you put your item. You will need a metal pizza peel with cornmeal or semolina on it to easily transfer pizza onto rack and remove pizza well after cooking. You could use a wood one but a metal one is much thinner and easier to handle for the 12” side, my opinion.Cleaning does require a bit of finesse. Yes, the crumb tray and cooking rack to easily remove for thorough cleaning. However, cheese and sauce can drip onto the bottom heating element as well. The bottom heating element does clean with a gentle sponge and some water.You do have to be super careful not to touch anything that gets heated in the process and this is definitely not an item for kid use! Too easy for them to burn themselves. I put a wood cutting board on top of my tile kitchen counter. It was fine. The directions do recommend a steel/metal surface.Speaking of directions, uh, they really don’t have any. It’s just a description of various parts and how they have been put together and some specs. No suggested cooking times or recipes or anything like that. No cooking tips. The handle comes screwed on I the inside for packing issues. You have to remove the handle and then screw it on on the outside.I looked at the various outdoor models as well-propane/wood/hybrid. I also looked at a number of indoor electric models that use a pizza stone. Lots of complaints in the reviews about the pizza stone getting blackened, smoke coming out of the appliance (even after seasoning), cheese and topping sticking to the top half, crust not throughly cooked on the bottom and/or tops burned. Had none of those problems here. Was extremely happy with the price paid at the Vevor company website and look forward to much future use. Gave the one star because you really shouldn’t buy it here unless Vevor company website raises its prices. Yummy pizza!

It’s versatile. I’ve also baked pies in it. I give it 4 out of 5 stars cuz the temperature isn’t in Fahrenheit. Not a big deal if you’re used to baking in Celsius temperatures. Living in USA most all of my recipes call for Fahrenheit temperatures. I just use my cellphone to look up temperature conversions. A small inconvenience, that really doesn’t distract from the overall usability of the device.

Toast: 8 Preheat Time + 2 min toast = 10 min total.I love it. Simple. Basic.The thing is 8 min preheat time for TOAST!!!!!!
