Super Fast but with cons - Compact Flash port broke - only two SD cards can be used at a time...
I received this 7-in-1 SD card reader for free from Amazon, and it has been a mixed experience. The reader is impressively fast, allowing for efficient data transfers. However, I encountered a significant drawback when the Compact Flash port broke after I accidentally inserted a card backward, even though it's supposed to be foolproof. This was quite frustrating and has affected my overall satisfaction with the product.Another limitation is that only two SD cards can be used simultaneously, which can be a bit inconvenient when working with multiple cards. Despite these issues, the reader functions well for its intended purpose and offers decent value for the price. I mean its only 15$, if it was more expensive, then I would rate it lower.4/5

Works for me.
The ability to connect two medium SD cards simultaneously is a winner.

Micro USB 2.0
Literally the worst connector ever. It comes with two cables, a short C to 2.0 B Micro, and a longer A to 2.0 B Micro. I sought out a removable cord USB C card reader but the description was misleading. Returning this, it’s junk. I don’t even understand how this exists. Who thought that was a good connector to use in 2023 when USB C has been around for nine years?

7 in 1 in that it has 7 slots, but only reads 6 at a time, not 7 as stated. But that’s OK.
I am not going to repeat here what the product pages details very thoroughly and, for the most, accurately. Suffice it to say that this card reader does what it claims to be able to do and does it well – with one exception.A couple of observations based on reviews. One reviewer worried that, “It would be nice if the CF card socket had the bevels to remind you which orientation is correct, you wouldn't want to plug it in upside down if you happen to be in a rush.” Unless you use brute force, you cannot insert a CF card (any card) in its slot improperly. Cards have either a beveled corner or one corner that is narrower at one edge. You can test that with a CF card adapter: try placing the card in the adapter upside down. Won’t go.One reviewer noted that, although the card displayed in Explorer, there was no “beep . . . or . . .notification” when a card was inserted. I have card readers whose ports display in Explorer with a connected notification when the reader is connected, disconnect notification when it is removed. This card only displays its ports if there is a card in the port. The reader does not sound the connect/disconnect notification when the empty reader is connected/disconnected. However, the unit I received does sound the connect/disconnect notification when a card is inserted/removed from the reader. One reviewer noted that “This reader would read SD cards, and would read µSD cards, but not both at the same time. Whichever gets plugged in first gets read.” That is not entirely correct. There are two SD card slots and one microSD slot. The two SD slots are on each side of the top of the unit (left front corner and right front corner). The microSD slot is on the bottom right corner of the unit, under the top right SD slot. The reader will simultaneously read both top SD slots (left and right) – or - the top left SD slot and the bottom right microSD slot. It will not simultaneously read the upper right SD slot and the lower right microSD slot. So, use the right front (top/bottom) SD/microSD slots one-at-a-time.The right side of the unit (either side of the power cable) has two tiny lights: red when powered, blue when there is one or more active cards in the reader. There are no lights associated with the individual card slots (an attempt at carbon neutrality). Finally, one labeled it “cheap” in the headline and “came cheaply packed in plastic” in the review. Plastic bag, notwithstanding, the unit I received was securely packaged for shipping. Reviewers have noted that the unit is “metal,” “nicely built with a sturdy aluminum enclosure,” and “feels solid enough.” To which I would say, yes, yes, and yes. To me, there is nothing about this unit or its hefty cables that bespeak cheap. Perhaps the headline only referred to the plastic bag.So, a great, compact, versatile card reader. But there are two of us who noted that the reader CANNOT “read and write simultaneously” for all slots and it would be good of the seller to correct the product-page statement and the mfr. to make note of same in a user manual. Still rates 5 stars.
