Portable Stereo Cassette Player Walkman Tape Recorder with Built-in Mic External Clear Speakers and Earphone Jack, 2AA Battery or USB Power Supply

This little cassette player is definitely a bang for your buck. It doesn't feel cheap and it sounds great even with older cassettes that have seen better days. The speaker isn't very loud even with the volume all the way up however if you connect it to another larger speaker with an aux cord it sounds fantastic! Definitely happy with this purchase.

I wrote a review on this product a while ago when I was a bit newer to cassettes. Over time I have now have now gained extensive knowledge about cassettes as a format, and one thing I can tell you is that no one makes good players anymore. Where oh where should I start? This player has terrible audio; Tapes can tend to sound warped or slowed when played with this, regardless of what batteries you put in there, some songs just sound very wrong. Seriously, have the manufacturers of this system ever heard of Dolby noise reduction? This player hisses like a snake and it's very noticeable. I've heard players from literal decades ago that have less hiss then this abomination. Want to record on this system? Forget about it, infact when you purchase this item, I want to look at it as if recording wasn't one of it's functions; this player's recording quality is so awful that you would be better off recording from phone a basically any other source. This player has recording quality comparable to some of our first microphones in the 1800s. Similarly to its horrible audio input this player also has horrible audio output; the speaker built into this garbage sounds worse then anything you could hear from dollar store earphones. Once again, when purchasing this item, think of it as NOT having its own speaker as a function. The battery life on this player is very short and hardly lasts you. I would say this player wouldn't last you any more than 6 hours on 2 AA batteries, truly incredible. For what it's worth at it's shockingly low price, it's still awful. I wouldn't even recommend this player to a beginner your better off watching paint dry if you want to waste your time. As someone with experience, don't buy any players here or anywhere else that are this cheap, they really aren't worth your time. This is a poor excuse of a portable cassette player and I'd be embarrassed if I ever had the nerve to put together an outrageous product like this and have it bear the name "Walkman".

This is better quality than I expected. It is great to listen to tapes again on headphones. The speaker is pretty tinny.

Justo lo que dice la descripción del producto, reproduce cassettes de forma tradcional y muy bien. El sonido suena perfecto, podría ser mejor, pero no suena mal para el precio que tiene. Lo recomiendo para revivir los cassettes guardados que tenemos en la colección.-

The recording sound is muffled, marred by background static, and too soft, even with the volume turned up. When Sony cassette recorders are clear and without static, why is this recorder nearly unusable?
