Difficult to assemble
The tent is nice once we got it up. It took 3 people to put it together. The tent fit a small table and 3 adults. Our tent was not tight, like in the picture. (To be transparent, they were putting it up in the rain.) However the instruction are limited. It would be nice if there was an instructal video. Also, all 4 panels are needed if you will be using it in the rain. The sides that had no panels water got inside and our things were wet. The side with the panel was effective. Hopefully it will be easier the next time we put it up.

Can't even protect a picnic table!
The Unicamper canopy is the worst piece of outdoor camping equipment I've ever used, hands down. Relied on this, to my detriment, for a 4 night trip which was going to include a decent chance of rain. I chose this one with slanted sides figuring it would be more stable in any wind that could arise.Unfortunately, the slanted walls also mean an absolutely tiny canopy, which would be it's major downfall. The 5-sided canopy is too small and too awkward a shape to protect a standard picnic table from rain, which would be it's one and only job during car camping. In fact, the unsealed seams on the top allowed water to collect in the meeting point for all of them in the very center and drip through, so literally none of this canopy actually ended up protecting from the rain! The mesh is too widely spaced to protect from smaller flying insects getting inside as well; the only thing the mesh managed to do was hold onto water so if you made the mistake of leaning too far back and touching the wall, you got absolutely drenched!I can say, it didn't blow over in a decent thunderstorm, but it also let every single item I stored underneath it get soaked so - I don't know who would have a use for this but it certainly isn't standard car campers.

Perfect for a day in the country on some heavy wooded acreage to keep the bugs at bay.
I’ve only had a chance to use this once so far, had a day of archery with some friends out on some acreage and it was great as a little improvised base camp. It’s was a nice area away from bugs to eat lunch and have some shade from the heat. It’s a classic style set up with long poles and all, not like newer pop up styles. Wasn’t too hard to put up with two people and went up quick enough. When set up and staked in it was pretty sturdy, didn’t have any trouble from the wind. Because the door is both high and wide opening the screen could be somewhat tricky and pull and stretch a bit if you went too quick or didn’t hold the side of the zipper as you did it. Overall we were happy with it and it did what it’s suppose to. Looking forward to using it again on the next event.

Great tailgating addition
We love tailgating, but the insects and at times, the weather can make it less enjoyable. The same thing applies to camping with our RV. This tent has improved our experience in both situations. It's definitely challenging to assemble the first time you do it. It becomes easier over time. It's also much easier when you have two people completing the assembly together. Once you figure that out, it's great to have. First, the top shields you from direct sun, but the sheer sides allow you to enjoy the sunlight. When you're ready to eat, you can close the sides to keep the flies out. The sheer sides won't prevent you from getting wet if it rains, but if you place the tent so that the rain is likely to hit the one side that isn't sheer, you can minimize your exposure to rain. You should also bring a tarp to put this on if you anticipate rain. Otherwise, the ground will ultimately get wet. Overall, this is a nice tent to add to your outdoor experience.

Traditional NOT instant/easy up; large enough to go over picnic table
Very nice screen house. It’s not an instant tent, but it sets up quickly enough. Can be done by one person but easier with two.I like that it can fit over a picnic table easily due to the size and shape. Perfect for when we go to the park. Fits plenty of chairs or a folding table and chairs without issue. Nice little bug free hangout spot
