This belt really does seem well made. It is a solid piece of leather, instead of some thing that's layered or covered. It's nicely constructed, looks good, and doesnt smell strongly at all.It looks good with jeans or shorts. I used the sizing guide and ordered 2" larger thany pants / shorts waist size and it's a great fit. I went back and ordered another belt in black because I was happy with this one. It isn't super wide, so it fits on some of my shirts that don't have wider belt loops like jeans so (but it's not a narrow belt by any means).In short, I recommend this belt. It's nice for the money.

This belt exceeded my expectations! The craftsmanship is top-notch. The precise stitching gives it a premium look and feel. The buckle is solid and has a unique, rustic design. It arrived beautifully packaged. It’s comfortable, durable, and fits perfectly. Definitely worth the purchase. highly recommended!

Six months update: After hanging outside in the weather for 6ish months, the tanning smell is mostly gone. The belt is a cowhide thick belt that works well with my jeans. The smell as delivered was literally unbearable around humans. I'm not hyper sensitive to smells - exsmoker who loves blue cheese, vinegar and anchovies. Still miss my cigars. Raised my score from 1 to 4. Would be a 5 but they ticked me off by shipping such an obnoxious product.Prominent leather tanning smell. Too smelly to put in my dresser drawer so hung it on door knob but the smell quickly filled the room. Hung it outside on Nov 3rd. Today is 11/28 - nearly 4 weeks later - several rains - hot sunny days - freezes. I can still smell it when I walk near it. Outside on my deck!On the positive side, the smell has reduced maybe 75%. I have to be within 5ish feet to smell it now. However, wearing it would still put me in a cloud of industrial chemicals that would quickly fill a room. I'm guessing another month may age out most of the smell but I don't know if that will be enough to make it usable. Maybe 2 more months...The smell is leathery but should not be confused with a 14 yo boy's first cologne. First, nobody, not even a teenager, would mistake the belt smell for too much cologne. It does NOT smell like teen spirit. Second, a teenager who dips himself into a cologne vat would lose his aroma in a couple of days. This belt has real staying power.Obviously, there was some incompetence at the leather tanning stage and again at the belt making stage and again at the packaging stage. They all failed quality assurance. That many incompetencies point directly at production management. In addition, marketing management has been aware of previous reviews that mentioned the smell and didn't care. This stuff is still for sale.My advice to you is to put Vitan on your "do not buy from them" list and watch for them to resurface in Amazon under a new name.Unusable product. Unscrupulous company.

For $20 I would say it’s worth the price. No smell, decent quality (great quality for the price). Seems a little stiff but it will break in. The color is great, nice brown, not too light or dark. Looks great with jeans. Overall I would definitely reccomend.

This is THE BEST BELT I've ever bought, from top name brands to high cost belts none have lasted more than a month or let alone 3 months this belt is about 7 months old and it's very sturdy comfortable stylish yet simple. The fit is perfect, very stretchy and comfortable with tight fits and the buckle and prong are magnificent. In conclusion it's perfect functionality all around Highly recommend

My husband is very particular about belts. Normal belts wear out within a few months or less for him, so I was very hopeful this was real leather but also highly skeptical it would be authentic. Sure enough, it seems to be REAL, GENUINE leather! We ordered one size larger than he needed (based on other reviews for American buyers), so with that variation, it fit just right. I was also impressed with the overall quality of it. It's thick, seamless, blemish-free, and has high quality stitching and a beautiful shade of brown. My only regret over this item is the quantity--should have ordered multiple in different colors.

I find this belt to be a good buy. It isn’t real wide if you're looking to use it as a sometimes tool belt.The leather is thick and I'm assuming will stretch with wear according to my particlar waist.You may want to order a little longer, perhaps the next size up. We'll see as it ages. The stitching seems to be good...Good value and I'm pleased so far.
