A very solid, compact and flat magnetic stirrer. Chemical resistant coating to allow for spillages. Up to 1500rpm stirring and multi-directional too. This is a brilliant product and it you've never used a magnetic stirrer before, prepare to be amazed!

Update 11 October 2019 - Still Shocked!!Unit does not spin continuously. Spins for 15 seconds then nothing!The Reverse mode works for 2-3 mins then just sops.All lights are on. If I don't get support by 13th October I am sending this back.Real shame.-----Shocked!This is one of the most expensive magnetics stirrers (sometime almost 3x times more expensive) and yet it does not come with a stir bar! imagine my shock to have a unit at £99 and then having to fork out more money for a stir bar. all other units costing far less than this come with at least one stir bar.Units also feels cheap. plastic and flimsy.Also heats up pretty quickly so I am not sure about longevity.I don't actually believe most of the other reviews left here after receiving this unit.I just feel ripped off.Not impressed at all.

I've always wanted a magnetic stirrer, and for half my lifetime have not quite bought one. Then I found this little baby, and thought, what the heck.Well, all I can say is, it works brilliantly. Best with small (say 1cm) size fleas, it does just what I want when mixing small beakers (or highball glasses)!So why 4 rather than 5 stars?! Actually, it deserves 5 for sheer quality and function, but I just WISH it was NOT hard-wired to its multi-voltage adapter. If EVER there was a device that should have been USB driven, with a removable cable, THIS is it.

A neat little stirrer capable of stirring up to 800ml at various rates (15-1500rpm). It takes up very little space on the bench and so is perfect for a cramped lab or fumehood. Very easy to use – there are only 3 buttons (On/Off, faster & slower) – which are sensitive enough to use with gloved hands. The “manual” (i.e. instructions sheet) is a little lacking in detail, but anyone experienced with stirrers will have no problems.

Good quality reversible magnetic stirrer. Perfect for space saving small vessels. I know the point is the space saving, but for the money just about another 5cm or so diameter would make it much more versatile. A very good steady, vari-speed, bidirectional, minimal contamination risk, no maintenance stirrer.
