Does what it’s supposed to do!
I bought this to remove the choke on my benelli M4 to instal a breacher choke. It will work with mobilchoke, which is what Benelli uses. The choke came out with no problem! Well built and definitely will be a useful tool in the range bag. Couldn’t beat the price!

A quality product…
It does what it’s designed to do. Solid and well constructed. The only thing that I could say as a detractor is that I had to use 0000 steel wool to remove some surface rust, right out of the bag. It doesn’t affect the use, but I was surprised on a tool bearing the Beretta name.

Works fine
This a very handy tool for a quick field change of you choke tubes. However, be careful, the thread "chaser" is brass. You could ruin it if miss-threaded or if you're trying to lap out a barrel for a better fit.I had to do this for a recently purchased Hatsan D12. I had to use 220 grit lapping compound and a Carlson SS choke tube to eventually get it to thread in all the way into the lower barrel. This tool made it much easier than those flat "key" type choke installer's that they give you with the gun.

4 points of contact makes for a solid lock up
I bought this as I had a stuck choke that needed to be removed with vice grips and fearing galled threads this was perfect. I chased the threads and added some anti-seize to a new choke and down the road I go. The 4 prongs make for a very nice lock up on not just mobile chokes but any 4 slot choke (chrio and DS Invector plus tested)If you think you galled your threads this is perfect.

Thread Chaser doesn't fit Beretta OptimaChoke HP, but spanner fits the choke itself.
It's a very well-made tool, but Beretta won't tell you which threads the thread-chaser works on. This is a big fail from a company that decided to release a number of different choke threads. Nowhere in the description here or on Beretta's own website could I find the thread pitch or which chokes it was compatible with. As a choke wrench it's very well-made, and the thread-chaser in brass is a nice feature, if only it fit the OptimaChoke-HP on a Beretta 1301 shotgun. I would have given 5 stars if it was clear which threads the chaser worked on. It's still useful as a choke wrench, so I'm keeping it because I lost my factory one.

Just wish I could find one for other manufactures. I restore old guns and some people do not take care of there guns, so this helps removal and cleaning of threads.
