Of course I'm always skeptical at first when purchasing an item for the first time, but this little welder can pack a punch, it's very easy to ensemble, just make sure you properly set your current with the size of the electrode, it's good for a beginner to learn on, and is capable of repairing projects on 110volt alone, comes with an adapter for 220volt which I haven't used yet, so far I fixed a broken shovel back to using condition, looking forward to really mastering different formations of welds, and for a cheap reasonable price, this is a great welder to do it with..

I loved it, it's a good size and it works excellently, I recommend it.

Internal construction appears good. See photos.I am pleasantly surprised by what I received for the price.Ground clamp could be better.Stinger is adequate.Cables appear adequately sized for the current.Cables are short so welder will have to be close to work.I use a 12 gauge extension cord with 120VAC.The included 240V adapter appears to be for a clothes dryer or stove.My 240V is standard 6-20. The adapter is long enough to remove the included plug and replace with a 5-20. I'll do that if I need additional Amp. 120 V circuit is plenty for the 3/32 rods I'm using.Open circuit 75 volts. Arc starts easily.Included mask, rods, and brush are adequate for an emergency weld.If doing anymore than a quick and dirty field repair, you'll want a better helmet, gloves, chipper, brush, perhaps a welding table, and of course, more rods. The 3/32 Hobart 6011 work well for me on thinks like mower deck repair, light angle etc.If there had been an option to skip the included mask, gloves, rods, and chipper/brush and save $5 or $10, I'd have gone with that.I have not tied on 240 V yet.All in all, I feel I got a good deal.

This welder has surpassed what I expected. Easy to use and convenient to take from one work area to another. Definitely worth what I paid for it

Purchased this compact 110/220 volt welder for odd jobs on my estate. Very impressed with the quality of welding and the portability. Now it has become quite effortless to repair broken infrastructure with this welder on hand. Truly a great investment at such a low price.MichaelY

The media could not be loaded.  Funciona muy bien está el momento. Es silencioso, desde los 40 amperes se puede soldar lamina, delgada, en 110 amperes tiene un arco muy consistente con buena penetración, es más que suficiente para cualquier proyecto en un taller de cerrajería, puede soldar piezas muy gruesas en su máxima amperaje, obviamente en varias pasadas, y con pausas. No es para trabajo pesado, no pretendas soldar un poliducto con este inversor. Pero es más que suficiente para la mayoría de trabajos sencillos. Lo único en verdad reprochable, es que el cable de la tierra y el porta electrodos es muy corto. Pero se puede remediar fácilmente. En unos meses sabremos si es un 5 estrellas, por el momento parece una buena herramienta económica.

Rod holder broke the first time using. No gloves. Flimsy so called shield. Ground clamp end broke pure weak plastic

The welding rods where cheap quality. Recieved with no gloves, welding mask and tool are flimsy plastic. But the machine works pretty well for the price.

It is easy use. Just plug positive and negative pole . Come with manual, one clip in the metal , and one just touch will start to working. This welder is small . Use small job. Can adjust to 130 am, make sure the power code don’t have another big power meachine when u welding. And it is come with welding rod.It is small trick when u using welding rod, when the inside the welding rod metal not outside u need to take off the outside burner, let the metal welding rod can touch to metal where u welding. Otherwise it is not working.It also come with the marks, but it look like not useful, I buy the another marks to do the job. As the price come with coupons only half price as I buy from the Canadian tires. It is worth to take this one to do the small job, other than buy expensive one from the CT。

Pour un initié comme moi je n'ai eu aucun problème pour l'utiliser. Le seul his que d'autre ont aussi partagés. La pince du ground n"est pas très solide. Tous le reste est super pour un prix semblable.

C'est exactement ce que j'avais besoin pour mes besoin un soudeuse pas trop grosse parfait pour des jobs maison en plus sa fonctionne sur 120 et non sur 220 pour le courant electrique.

it works wellin the description it mentioned :getting different types of rods but i got a bunch of the same rodspower is a little off, even at max power i wasn't getting enough for some types of welding
