These fit my small head and protected my hearing while my using a 20 gauge shotgun.

These pair of noise cancelling ear protectors are fairly decent. If all you're looking for is something that will save you from the loud machinery of a shop, or a gas powered weed-eater or leaf-blower, then these will work just fine for that. If you're doing something that is a little bit louder, like spending a day at the range, or using loud pneumatic power tools, then the efficacy on these becomes a little less excellent. Wearing them is comfortable, but sweaty business if you're outside and in the sun. Overall I can't complain, these are better than not wearing anything for sure, and they'll save your hearing down the line if you use them. Once your ears are damaged, it's usually irreversible, so invest a little in your ears! These will go a long way, whereas the little foam plugs are less protective, less comfortable, and less reusable. I'm using mine around the house with the weed-eater, and I can still hear, so they're working.

This is a good, comfortable, compact set of earmuffs.I misread the description and thought they were electronic muffs... so, was disappointed when they arrived. But, that was my mistake!Despite the lack of electronic hearing capabilities, the muffs are exactly what they say they are. They protect your ears and do an acceptable job of it. KAYNN did a good job making the muffs comfortable and compact. My last set of ear muffs were very bulky and gave me a headache.It's great to have 2 sets at this price.These will get used for mowing and tree work, but I'll get electronic ones for target practice.

Whenever I go to the range, I always ask my friends if they have ear protection which majority of the time, they do not. Now I have a chance to bring a pair for anyone who wants to follow me. Other than that, it deadens the sound of high-pitched noises very well. It's not close to those noise cancelling headsets but it will protect your ears very well. The materials used on the headset are very well made and produced. If by any chance the rubber coating on the headset starts to turn gummy, then just use rubbing alcohol to remove that tackiness and you're good to go. If you need replacement ear seals, basically it's the same size as the razor. Get this pair to bring your friends along to the range. Other than that, it's good for using power tools that emit a high-pitched sound. It's also great to use when you're at a firework show or an airshow. It's good to have with you wherever you go so get this.

I got these for my daughter that doesn't like to use in ear protection (ear plugs). They are exactly as described and do exactly what I expected it to do. I would recommend. If there are any issues, I will update the review.

I used these in a few scenarios and feel their application is definitely geared towards the less extreme end of the spectrum as you could expect. When using lawn equipment and power tools, it readily cancelled out enough of the loudness that I felt confident my hearing was protected.While using them at the gun range, they were less effective when near some of the higher powered rifles (5.56, 300 blackout etc.)
