It was my hope that this would keep mosquitoes away from my pet chickens; I saw signs of Flock Pox and it freaked me out.When I took the can outside I pointed it at my fly trap. The flies bounced off the trap as if marbles in a jar when shook. Craziness.It’ll be grand if it repels mosquitoes & fliesLater while caring for my girls to tuck them in, cleaning bowls, watered etc, I was not chased by mosquitoes (I did not wear off).The smell of the repellent is strong; mint I think. Rather oily/ greasy; white in color.For the night, having just placed them, I hid the can between two brick to keep it from being pecked. I plan to use a food container with holes drilled. I placed it in the run.The 2nd is above the coop. It’s my hope that the mosquitoes will be repelled from the coop windows, thus my birds.I’m am ordering 2 more, back then front porches.FL is brutal with mosquitoes. My dogs will appreciate the respite from them as wellI’ll update this in a few days

The smell is strong enough to keep anything away but unfortunately we have more flies so it attracts flies to me. Would not recommend if you don't have anything for flies but less mosquitoes I can say.

Worked well for 3 to 4 days but didn’t have much impact after that

I’m not sure how this would work else where but we bought this for my car as we lived in an area where it seemed the mosquitos were out any time of day during the summer, and my 18 month old was getting bug bites just from the car. They didn’t help at all and if anything more mosquitoes came into the car than before.

I know we’re in the dog days of summer, but there was oil everywhere when I opened the pouch... Packaging definitely needs to be updated. Product was still fairly intact, however. Placed one on the table where we were sitting (after wiping it off), and a mosquito landed on it. It smells really nice, tho! I’ll use them as bathroom air fresheners, not their intended purpose. I gave non-toxic a whirl, but think I’ll stick with the Off.

Works okay haven’t tested it at the football games yet

I don't live in Florida or Texas - where the mosquitos are doubtless WAY more impressive. I'm in suburban Philly - where,nonetheless,the skeeters have been BRUTAL this year. I hate using deet, but it mostly works.In desperation I have been trying everything that folks say works. Folks liked this.The canister of this citronell smelled really strong, BUT - it was more like an attractant than a repellant. 5 mosquitos within 5 minutes- with the canister about 18" away from me. It smells strong - does NOT deter mosquitos here! I just ran back inside from my patio.The search continues while the little buggers continue to plague us.....
