I’m super impressed with this new pen scanner! It’s incredibly easy to use and highly portable, perfect for both offline and online translation. The 140-language photo translator is amazing for my dyslexia students, making reading and understanding much simpler.

It's funny. It became unusable after being used for more than 4 months, which was just beyond the return period.

I ordered this because we were going to be going on a trip and wanted to have a backup translator other than the phone. This was not easy to start using the instructions were not clear, and it was hard to really figure out. After throwing the directions away and then pushing buttons, I was able to start using it. It was not spot on, but in the ballpark when I had it translate my friends speaking their native languages. At least while using it with them it did not translate anything I said that would get me in trouble in another country, but the device feels like it is missing features and should have an update to correct some of the things that just don't seem to work the way you think it should as you are using the device. Overall, it is a good start and hopefully they have a way to update the software, because the hardware itself has been dropped multiple times and has survived.

One day I purchased an item on Amazon and when it arrived I could not use it or read the instruction manual because it was in all Chinese. Unfortunately, I am unable to read Chinese so I cannot use the device. This ended up with me having no choice but to return it for a refund. When I came across this translating device it was like it was sent to me on purpose after receiving that product prior. So, I decided to make the purchase and give it a try. Wow, am I glad I did because I fell in love the very first time that I used this translator. First thing is that this translator is so simple to operate and yet it is spot on with its accuracy no matter if you are using the rollover function or your using the take a photo function or the voice translation. I have had 0 accuracy issues whatsoever. If you have text that is in another language all you do is simply roll the pen across it and what you are trying to read is then translated into the language of your choice. It picks up every word with ease. Once it scans the words and shows them on your screen you can hit each word and it will take you to a dictionary listening. And not only can you read the text on the screen it will also read it out loud to you. If you are unable to scroll the pen over the text you can also take a photo of it and it will translate it that way once again giving you the screen reading capability, the voice translation, and the dictionary function. This translator can do on and offline translation in many languages. Only utilized it in Chinese and English so far. It also saves the data on the pen which can be downloaded to your computer or tablet for later use. It is Wi-fi connectable which allows you to download databases and use it online for numerous other languages. It also has voice translation so that you are able to translate foreign languages spoken to you and you to them. With everything that I have tried I have had zero accuracy issues as I reported earlier. That shocked me let alone. The battery life is fair. I would say that you get approximately 8 hours out of one charge. The device charges quickly and easily with nothing more than a USB C cable. The touch screen is very responsive and I've had no issues whatsoever. The screen as crystal clear there's no problems to report as of yet. All I can say is this translator is absolutely amazing and worth every penny. Even if you're like me and will only use it from time to time you still cannot beat having this on hand because, when you need it you need it. I would highly recommend this item to anyone that is in the market for this and as I said what you're paying you are definitely receiving a state of the art high quality product.

I ordered this Pen Scanner and It's supposed to be a "dyslexia student's dream gadget", but as someone with dyslexia, I can say I was not impressed. I found it a bit tricky to use and, while what it does is nice, I thought It would read out loud the scanned-over words on a page. This is more of a translator though it seems. It's portable, I'll give it that, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations.
