You never know you need one until you do, as a tradesman it’s always handy to know what’s stored or people have hanging around, whilst the shouldn’t be any radiation involved in my work it’s amazing what people put in the attic or cellar that really shouldn’t be there .. well worth the money if it saves you from unknown exposure to radiation..

Good product

Me and my partner bought this item to check against our pieces of uranium glass. Unfortunately it seemed that it couldn't pick up the beta radiation emitted. There doesn't seem to be a vent on the item to allow the beta rays to hit the tubs. There is no audible click sound and although it seems there is some sort of GM tube inside, it's not suitable and the values seem to change at random. After buying a GQ for £80 I can notice the stark differences

Well made, easy to understand. Bought for the event of a major leak or detonation dirty bomb etc. Probably will never happen, but for £50 I might as well have it as a option....

Even though the battery and Geiger tube are not as advertised the replacement parts seem to work okay albert not as well as the originals (advertised).The firmware is everything it needs to be, clear and user friendly. For the price it is pretty good.

Le produit est bien, léger, assez simple d'utilisation et pas trop cher. Mais en l'absence d'une référence réelle pour comparer les valeurs mesurées avec un appareil professionnel, il est difficile de donner un avis objectif. Je verrai bien si un jour je suis en contact avec un matériau reconnu pour être légèrement radioactif (granit par ex.), je ferai bien sûr le test et redonnerai des infos ici même.Cdt.

Bon produit mais, quand je l'ai reçu sa fesait du bruit comme ci quelques chose bouger a l'intérieur, je démonte et la batterie n'était pas fixée à l'autocollant double face il y avait encore la protection à décoller, et l'empoulle Geiger se balader dans le boîtier, j'ai du remettre un nouveau double face, qualité au montage devrait être vérifié pour sa je met 3 stars
