I enjoyed it.
It took me a while to pick up this book to read it from cover to cover. When I think of missing children in a book, I have to be in the right frame of mind. But Trebelhorn brought this one to a timely closure and a somewhat happy ending. Liv Andrews and her hook up with pain in the butt Sophie Kane is a whole other story.

Great book!
Great book! A very much thriller derived reading; it almost seems like a personal account, but it really is just a fictoral account. Cudos To The Author!

MIssing pieces but interesting
Although overall I liked the book, I did feel it left me with some missing pieces and that the story was either edited to much for an ebook or was rushed through. Since I love lesbian fiction, I did think it was a good read for a lazy day.

Another Must read from PJ Trebelhorn
Olivia and Sophie are thrust together in a small FBI team working to solve Missing Children Cases. As more children go missing the team scramble to find them before more bodies turn up. With the help (and sometime hindrance) of local law enforcement, Olivia and her team must scour the countryside with minimal clues to find the missing children and capture the kidnapper. As team leader, one of Olivia's responsibilities is team dynamics and she is adamant that the growing attraction between her and Sophie will never develop. Will the kidnapper be found in time and can both women maintain the professional distance required to solve the mystery of who is behind these crimes. This is PJ Trebelhorn's third published novel and I swear they continue to get better. The main characters are well developed and likeable, supporting cast add credibility to the story and are all necessary. The mystery is believable and not too complex. The narrative when concentrating on the kidnappings is gripping and well written, I experienced tingling sensations down my back when the kidnapper was laying in wait. The conflict was believable in the context of Sophie's insecurities.I really enjoyed the story and highly recommend it to others who enjoy mystery and romance. This will definitely be going onto my re-read pile. I read the eBook version of this novel.

Barely passable.
FBI background research and details seem rushed. The two agents seem like movie cutout characters, and acted weirdly aggressive in even mundane interviews with a possible suspect at one point.Chemistry is mechanical, pace is sky high. They go from dislike to crush in days, in the book just a few pages. Introspection and character depth is almost nil.Book is short, and a very fast read. Could have done with another hundred pages and slower pacing. Not the best the genre has to offer. Would not recommend.
