I always like having a fan to keep the air moving around me while I work at my desk. I used to have a large fan that was quiet and moved a lot of air, but really took up a lot of valuable space on my desk. This is a great little fan that I feel is much more appropriate for the size desk I have. I work in an office cubicle and would like to keep cords to a minimum since my desk is in a public area and I'd like to keep it tidy.Big takeaways:- Small and lightweight (you could definitely pack it in a bag if needed)- Lowest speed setting is very quiet and moves a nice amount of air if you're 1-2 feet from it (it's not silent, but it's suitable for a quiet office environment)- Highest speed setting could be a bit annoying if you work in an otherwise quiet environment, but if people are talking constantly, it might be okay.If you want a TRULY silent desk fan, you are going to need to get a medium to large size, because the bigger the fan blades are the slower the blades need to spin in order to move the same amount of air.

I bought this fan to replace a larger USB powered fan for use at my bedside. When I saw the small box I was disappointed in the size, but was literally blown away by the powerful blast of cool air! After losing our power for 7 days due to downed power lines, I was saved from the heat by a USB fan connected to a power pack. So after we regained our grid I decided to buy another fan and two more power packs plus a weather radio. The fan has been the best! I can push the thermostat higher to save on electricity and still stay nice and cool. Great for the bedside, desk, or office. I’m telling and showing all my friends! Love it! It has 3 speeds but I keep it on the lowest setting and it hardly uses any power! Amazing!

I honestly thought most of the over-the-top reviews on this fan were fake. I laughed at the picture of a woman sitting a couch length away and her hair being blown by this tiny fan. But for $8 I figured it was worth a gamble.Holy cow does this thing put out air! I’ve had multiple tiny *AC* powered fans over the years that don’t move as much air. The build quality is relatively cheap and it’s impossible to say how long the motor will last at this point, but I’m super impressed with how it operates as a FAN. I truly blows, in the best way possible.I also like a fan to make some white noise for sleep and was worried about the reviews that said it was “silent.” But I’m happy to report that at least on high, it makes *enough* noise for me.I’ll be buying more if this one holds up for 6mo.

Not gonna lie, when I first got it, it looked like it wasn’t strong enough to blow out a candle, but I was pleasantly surprised by its power. On the second and third power setting the sound of the fan is quite noticeable. But for me I just use it at night and it does provide some white noise for me and helps me sleep which I do love.So those points being said, it works like a charm, especially for its size, and am very happy with it!

Great build quality, good power (there's three speeds and I never need to use anything faster than speed 1).I've seen some reviews about the fan toppling over when set at a high angle. I don't have this issue, so I think that's been addressed by the Manufacturers. The fan base is big enough to keep it stable.Since I got the fan a week ago I've been using it every day for hours (because my Employer refuses to use the office A/C. I even used it over night for around 10 hours straight and it hasn't once over heated like some other mini fans I've used in the past.It's also small enough to carry in your bag everyday. And great for travelling on a hot bus or train (if you have a Power Bank or available USB port). And it's very quiet. Can barely hear it on the lowest level.Highly recommended

Although it’s all plastic (not a bad thing for those who need portability), it’s vibration absorption is on point. Hence, LOW NOISE is really apparent(or not, in this case lol) … I picked up 2 of them and they look amazing. Really sleek design, simple and well; it’s plug-n-play and unlike most scams on the internet, this fan just works straight out of the box, and beautifully if I may add. Keep it up, Gaiatop Team.
