I need these having 2 little girls 4 and 6 and so far they have tested them and the placemats are winning. They did struggle with tomato pasta sauce however a little bit of bleach on a rag and wipe soon cleaned that up.I would happily recommend these to others.

I got the braided round ones, and they are actually quite nice. They came rolled up, and it was simple to get them to lay flat. I didn't have any issues with quality with mine. They seem quite well made, and look nice. A bit bigger than expected, but it's only a problem if you have a small table. Great for indoors or out.

I selected the round beige placemats for my table through the Amazon Vine program.The item arrived well-packaged and secured. However, since it had been rolled/folded for shipping, I needed to place it under a heavy object to ensure it flattened out. Once that was done, it maintained its shape excellently on my table.The design is sophisticated, and the beige colour carries a glittery tint. I've had to wash one mat due to a minor spill, and it held up well in the washing machine, though I wouldn't recommend washing it frequently.The placemats effectively protected my wooden table from heat and left no marks. However, for hotter items like pans and trays, I'd suggest using additional protection.

It was supposed to come with 6 placemats and received only 5.As you can see on my pictures 2 of them have FOOD stains… I didn’t know brand new items could have food stains on them. Another one is obviously damaged but that’s probably due to poor quality.Returning straight after opening. Shame because they are gorgeous for the price.

Having a penchant for fine dining at home, I've always wanted placemats that are both functional and elegant. Using these for several dinners, I found them to be resilient against the usual mealtime mishaps. Their shape is versatile, fitting various table designs, and cleanup is undemanding - a quick wipe and they're as good as new. The texture ensures they stay put, and they've managed to protect my tables from potential mishaps. While they look good, it's their utility that won me over.

Not so great..all mats were folded not flattened when comes in delivery . I Need to put some heavy weight to flatten all the mats.

I had the round braided ones to review. They come rolled but are very easily flattened out, just lay them the other side down and in half an hour they are flat.I had a couple of issues with these, firstly two of the 6 placemats had some sort of fluff that had wrapped itself round the stitching, and there was no way of removing it, unless I wanted to cut the stitching, but I was able to push the fluff through to the underside.The second issue was another on another mat the last weave wasn't stiched down, so I will have to repair that before use.Other than that, these will be great for a BBQ where it won't matter what gets spilled on them as they are easy to wash. I can vouch for that as in trying to get the fluff off I must have caught my finger and managed to get blood on one of the mats, luckily not the one that needed stitching. A quick wash under the tap and no more blood stain.So as much as I would like to give these mats a 4 star rating, in all honesty I can't, but if you want them for a BBQ, which is what I will use them for, you might not be as disappointed as I initially was.

I have been looking at several types of placemats to go on this round table and I've had no luck! Then I happen to see this style of placemat, and immediately fell in love with it. This looks amazing on my table and fits the style of the table. No more squares or circle placemats for me. The placemat is a soft leather, which is very easy to clean. It looks amazing on my table and I will only buy this kind of placemat. I highly recommend this placemat looks elegant and fits a round table perfectly.

Came rolled up and therefore needed to be flattened, as they curled up when setting on a table. Had to put heavy dishes on them for a few days so they would lie nicely. Otherwise, decent product.
