Hyripe External CD/DVD Drive
I recently purchased a new laptop and discovered that it did not have a CD/DVD drive. I have several costly software programs that I use daily and are on DVD's. Therefore, it was necessary to order an external drive to load the programs onto my new laptop. I chose the Hyripe External CD/DVD Drive because it fit all my criteria and was reasonably priced. It came in earlier than expected and in excellent packaging. All I had to do was plug it into my new computer, load the drive with my software and install my programs. Everything worked perfectly. This drive does everything as advertised and is now a part of my laptop accessories. The shopping experience was quick and easy and I could not have had a better experience with this order.

Works great! Plug and play with no issues.
We got this new external drive because the old one we had was failing with errors more than it was working. We were so pleased with this new drive! It worked right out of the box with no additional setup, and it consistently works perfectly. We have had no issues with any errors while using it. It was inexpensive and it works flawlessly. What more could you ask?

Great.
Worked right out of the box, didn't have to install any drivers. I love the two port option and that the cable tucks away neatly on the underside of the unit. The cable is a little short, but it isn't a problem for me. The cd drive works quickly. Overall it's a great usb cd drive.

Stops working after a short time.
It works fine for a while, then just stops properly reading any DVD. We have had 2, was able to return the first, then the second stopped working after the return period.
