I carry this with me to silence the noisy neighborhood dogs when I walk. It works great on MOST dogs, but not all dogs. They are trained now, and one quick beep and they quiet down immediately. Small enough to carry in my pocket.

I bought this in August 2023 and now I'm writing my review. Tbh it works great if you use it properly and it's very durable I accidentally left it outside in the rain and when I got back home because I thought I lost it and picked it up and it still works to this day.. it helps with training to deter jumping and excessive barking I highly recommend this product. So, it did not work for my german shepherd, he stops barking for a second, looks at me and then goes right back to it. However I have found two uses for it. It works great on my cat. When he gets on the counter or somewhere else he's not welcome I aim it at him and he tears off like his tail is on fire. Works great.I also found that my neighbors pit bull is scared of it as well. She is a terror and gets loose a lot. she'll charge me, barking and growling at me. She's not aggressive so much as a bully so far, but I don't want to take any chances so I gave it a try next time she came at me and found it works great. She froze when I hit the button and then took off back to her own yard. I carry it with me whenever I go outside just in case she got loose. It makes me feel safer.I recommend it to any delivery person, like UPS, USPS, FedEx and even Amazon. Neighborhoods like mine where there are always dogs running loose can be a hazzard. This might at least give you time to get back in your truck if you should find yourself in a bad situation.

Did not phase my dogs at all. These remote things do help with barking if you get the right one. I have another one similar to this product but I wanted a second one and I wish I'd just stuck with that brant but this one was like $20 cheaper. I guess you get what you pay for.

I was so skeptical. My large, doofy doodle was out of control with her barking at everything and jumping on people when they came in the door. By using this device to train her (using command - beep - frequency) it only took TWO TRIES before she had it figured out. My mind was--and still is--blown, as she was the main source of stress in our home.Now that her behavior's been corrected, it has become obvious that she's actually learned all the bad things from our tiny shih Tzu who, unfortunately, seems unaffected by the frequencies (she's elderly, so maybe her hearing is going out?) We're not giving up on her, but at least the larger, louder problem has been fixed.My user tips:-Use simple, one word commands to communicate the behavior you want to see (ex: sit, quiet, heel, down).-Beep, then give enough time for them to respond.-If you need to use the frequency, start with a lower level at first...I will say, the included directions are kind of confusing as to which frequency is actually the gentlest, and I'm still not 100% I figured it out 🤷🏼‍♀️

So, this is the 2nd such product that I've bought that was supposed to put an end to dogs barking behavior. - The first such product that I bought like this (a different brand) was total crap.It was very cheaply made... and broke after three day. On top of NOT doing what it was promising to do!So, within a few days of the previous one going kaput... I ordered THIS one by NOUGAT.PROS: It was better made than the previous one purchased (sturdier & NOT flimsy).It contained a built-in rechargeable battery that could be charged via a USB cable (EXCELLENT feature).And, it also has a built-in LED light that you can use like a flashlight in emergency.CONS:Unlike the previous unit purchased, this one makes an annoying beeping noise while so-called dog silencing feature is being activated. So, the whole time you hold the ON button it makes a low-pitched beeping noise... which is hardly anything that would ward of a barking dog (especially an aggressive one).But, more inmportantly it has NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER on barking dogs!!!I have five little dogs that bark incessantly in my complex (they all have different owners).Today, with a FULLY charged unit, I pressed that ON switch continuously for thirty minutes to get the yapping dogs to quit barking. - I might as well have been singing them a lullaby. - After thirty minutes of pressing & holding that ON button to NO avail, I gave up because my thumb was getting number from holding the button down. - In essence, the dog barking silencing feature was a TOTAL bust!!***__I will NOT be purchasing a 3rd unit of this type because I consider them to all be frauds!***You don't get... what you pay for!!!ALL of these type products should be "re-labelled" as LED LIGHTS.Because that's all that they are good for!

OK, I admit I did not buy this to train a dog. We bought it to try to deter the dogs behind us to shut up.The limited range makes it questionably effective. It may work well when the dog is at your side but the verdict is still out whether it will deter the dogs we encounter on our walks, or the dogs the neighbor puts out in the morning. If this turns out better than it has so far, we will let you know. (Give me 50 feet of deterrent range and I could sell dozens at the local park that is now unwalkable because people unleash their dogs and let them run the trails. Not everyone likes dogs and some of us have scars to prove that"He/she won't hurt you" is often just not true).

Nos ayudó mucho a calmar la ansiedad a la hora del paseo. Ya no busca pelear con otros perros. Al grado que ya no tenemos que usarlo, simplemente aprendió que ese comportamiento no era el adecuado y dejó de hacerlo. 100% recomendado

No funciona con todos los perros.Muchos de los que me he encontrado les importa un cacahuate.

no sirve el producto, mi dinero tirado a la basura, lo he probado con varias razas de perro y no hay resultados, recomiendo que Amazon pruebe estos productos, lamentablemente tire la caja y empaque y no creo que me devuelvan mi dinero

Compre el aparato pensando que funcionaria con Perros pero no fue asi
