Q: How long do the cartridges last on average ?? I'm a new user.

I shave about four to five times per week. Have a regular growth for shaving needs. At first i threw out the cartridge after the first month but it seemed to be ok at that stage. Then discarded at 1.5 months. Have stayed around 1.5 months even though I could probably stretch it to two months. I am amazed at how long the blades last.

Q: Is Schick Hydro 5 a good option to shave balls with? Is there something else that works better?

Definitely, as a matter of fact they are made for specifically for balls and cracks!

Q: Does anyone else think the new design pulls a little more and knicks more often?

No pull or knicks, but I have noticed they don't last as long. I used to get 18-21 shaves and now I'm down to 14-15 good shaves out of 1 cartridge.

Q: I ordered these and they were different than store bought ones (both sensitive and regular). The lube strips were not correct. Anybody else?

I just opened my Hydro 5 couple of days ago. I have never seen this hydrating gel and "new and improved" product. In the first 2 days of use I don't think I care for it like the old ones. Seems to have slightly more friction. Doesn't glide as well.
