Good battery life , clean shave very powerful, it is a little loud but I like the powerful shave but may bother some .It is very light and easy to work with .

This is the razor that most of the barber shops and hair salons are using. It shaves so very close!!! I had to get one. Great product!

This Andis Foil Electric Shaver, the so-called TS-2, is a decent product, and I’m glad I chose this over the similarly-priced rotary I was considering. I’ve used this exclusively for a month straight, no razors, twice a week, and it gave me a decent shave. No, it’s not as close as my Mach 3, but it’s much better than I expected. Definitely a good alternative when I don’t want to go through the whole shaving ritual.I do find I have to take it slow and gentle when going over the neck area to avoid irritation, and I sometimes have to make multiple passes to cut a few stragglers that desperately don’t want to get cut, but all-in-all the end result is pretty good with my course sandpaper facial hair with three days’ growth. My shaving schedule consists of using the Andis every Wednesday to tidy up the appearance until the next shave with the Mach 3 on Sunday. Works for me.The charging base is nice, and the build quality seems okay (lightweight plastic), nothing premium, but that’s not an issue for me. The clear plastic cover is decent, and no issues gripping the unit when shaving. As far as battery life, I couldn’t tell you; I never ran down the battery as I charge up before every shave, then unplug the unit until the next session. Regarding the motor, this thing is loud, but I guess that’s a good sign; however, I find the included cleaning brush ineffective at reaching into the nooks and crannies of the unit after shaving, so I use my own brush with a longer stem. Lastly, what prevents me from giving this Andis Foil Shaver a perfect rating is the weird, soot-like residue that gets left behind on my face after shaving…have no idea what it is exactly. Ground-up hair? A substance from the blades? I have no clue what the residue is, but it sometimes looks like I crawled out of a coal mine after shaving and I immediately have to wash my face to get it off.Nevertheless, this was a good buy.

I purchased these as a gift for my husband on Christmas and he loves them!! He uses them after his haircuts or between days. It gives his face a silky smooth finish. Not super loud and the size doesn’t take up much space on his counter top. The battery lasts a while , I don’t even think he has changed it since his first use.

Unfortunately, this shaver did not perform as well as I had hoped. No matter how much I angled, or the amount of pressure applied to the shaver, I simply could not get a good smooth shave. I made a number of passes everytime I used it and constantly cleaned the tiny pieces of hair out of it during my shaves but still didn't perform up to expectations. Not to mention, after maybe the second use, I started getting razor bumps. Yes, I thoroughly cleaned and sterilized it after each use.Even after shaving my head completely with clippers adjusted all of the way down for the lowest cut and without any guards, then cleaning my head from any hair shavings, this shaver was unable to give me a good, smooth shave. I tried using it every two days, then every other day and neither helped with a better shave. I did not try shaving everyday because my skin is so sensitive and there would have been even more razor bumps than I already had.Let me just say that I am an African American male, and I have worn the bald look for over a decade or two. However, it is difficult to find razors/clippers that will give me a good, clean & smooth shave especially without razor bumps. The same stood true with this shaver.My low rating by no means is saying that this is not a good shaver. It simply did not perform up to my expectations for my head/hair. Others may have a better experience than mine. My low rating is solely due to not being able to get a clean, smooth shave on my head. With that being said, I cannot say if I do or do not recommend this shaver. I'm neutral in that respect.

I should have bought this sooner. I’ve always hated foil shavers, but after using my Andis trimmers which I absolutely love, I figured I would try their foil trimmer. I use it for my head, and lower neck.It cuts closer than my zero-gap Andis trimmers, and there is so much less of a mess. I didn’t experience any hair pulling or discomfort, it just cut flawlessly. I’ll still use my trimmers for detail cuts, but these are perfect for my head. Much faster, closer cut, less mess.These are absolutely perfect for my use. Andis makes quality products. Highly recommend!

Money well spent! This foil shaver is an amazing alternative from a safety razor. Head is super smooth now, easy to use. Highly recommend getting the charging dock. Fits in luggage easily.
