Frankly he loves it, it is light weight and very warm, it has a contor that allows it to cover his ears. He said it was wind proof and that it is so warm he can only wear it when its very cold.

I FINALLY FOUND THE HAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR
PROS: Windproof, Waterproof, Lightweight, and it completely covers the earlobes.CON: I think this hat may reduce ambient sound much more than other beanies. I assume it must be the material that makes it windproof and waterproof. Sometimes I feel like I am yelling when talking to people or listening to music too loud when I wear it.I've been doing a buzzcut on my whole head for the past 5 years, so I am usually wearing a beanie to keep my head warm for 6-8 months out of the year in the Northeast weather. I also work on a windmill farm and this does an excellent job during the windiest of days. I've worn several other brands such as Nike and Under Armour made out of fleece and other similar materials. I like this one so much better. Thanks Chaos!Side Note: I also purchased the Chaos neck and half face mask. ~$20 for both was definitely worth completing my ninja outfit. Oh and um, staying warm too.

This hat was way too small. Very tight but seemed warm enough.

There are only a few words necessary for this hat: warm, dry, and comfortable.I wore this hat on a passage where it was just cold and rainy enough to want a hat and jacket but not so much that foul weather gear was necessary. This hat kept my head warm, dry, and comfortable. It was indeed windproof, so much so that it was a little more difficult to hear with the over-the-ear design.

Great Hat For The Motorcycle:
On the way to Sturgis, SD recently I rode through 4 hours of moderate rain with brief stretches of heavy rain with temps around 62 degrees. My head stayed dry and warm.
