Update:My kitties are still having lots of fun with this tunnel but I have a suggestion for the manufacturer. The tunnel needs to be weighted so the openings always roll to the top. Running or jumping through these openings or poking their heads out of them are just a much fun as running through the tunnel. With the weights the tunnel would always have the openings roll to the top.When my kitties are in the mood they love this thing! Running through it, sitting in it or darting through the side holes they're having a blast. Nice hook and loop fasteners are a really nice touch. Folding it up is a bit of a challenge because the spring holding it open is nice and heavy duty. That same strength is what keeps the tunnel fully open. It's made of a crinkly material that makes noise as they run through it making it even more fun to play in. My guys like to chew on things (a lot) and the materials are substantial enough to make this thing last yet won't hurt them. The outside of the tunnel is a soft fabric and the inside is a slippery nylon like fabric. The side holes have a reinforced rim and the ends are sewn in such a way so the metal spring is not exposed making it very safe for you pet. The listed dimensions are right on the money. You'll need some reasonable amount of space because it's pretty big. The 12 inch opening at the ends makes it very easy for my cats to run through it very quickly and makes their chase that much more fun! I highly recommend this product!

This tunnel is extra long and extra wide and just right for larger cats like my ragdoll. The tunnel is well-made of a soft material, it doesn't have a loud crackle noise like some expandable tunnels (although there can be a slight crackling sound depending upon what the animal is doing), and it can be closed back up with the toggle fasteners. Older cats (mine will be 13) are pretty definite about what they like and what they ignore. This tunnel was a Christmas treat and since Amazon offers a good post-Christmas return period I decided to try it. If the cat ignored it (which happens with most "cat toys") I would ship it back. This tunnel is a winner! We play laser chase through it, or chase and hide, or she just runs in and out of it like a crazy cat. Sometimes I find her taking a nap inside the tube. Today I threw away the packaging because this is a keeper! The price was surprisingly good for such a well-made product. Highly recommended.Update: Have had this cat tunnel for four months and it - plus a laser pointer - continue to keep my older lady playful. This product has an amazing number of 5-star reviews and we are very pleased with it.Update #2: My original review was written in January 2018. It is now February 2022 and Kitty is 16 years young. This tunnel - along with a laser pointer - is about the only vigorous exercise she gets which is important as she gets older. We have had this tunnel for four years, it has held up well, and honestly still looks like new. It's a good product and about 85%+ of Amazon reviewers agree.

My two cats love this tunnel. At first they were rather nervous, but now they love using it, especially with a laser pointer. The larger diameter is great for larger cats...my 14lb+ flood has not problem charging through it. I leave it up permanently and they like to sleep in it. I got the grey colored one. Would like to see more colors to go with household decor. The rip stop nylon interior is holding up well so far. I would definitely buy again.

This cheetah print crinkle tube is so much fun. My kitten loves it. He plays inside with toys and runs like a crazy kitten through it. Excellent quality. It is thick enough that even when my kitten is chewing on the side of the openings it hasn't torn. You can leave it out or you can collapse it for easy storage when not in use. I would recommend purchasing.

My 2 cats haven't figured out they can get out when they're in the tunnel. They play with each other through the little "port" holes but when they stop the cat inside freaks out. So they do have some fun with it. I'll probably end up donating our local animal shelter. It's very well made & quite large.

The media could not be loaded. It's larger sized so my Maine Coon kitten fits easily (so far). He is 12.5 lb. My 3 y.o. granddaughter even fits through it (chasing the kitten).Quality seems good and it's totally worth the price. I may get another to link to it.

The tunnel is great. A little expensive compared to others in the category, but actually the quality is good and I'm happy with the purchase.

This tunnel is awesome, the sizing it is advertised as is correct. My large 21 pound Maine Coon cat fits in this with room to spare. He loves it, and can even get into it thru the side holes. And the rest of my smaller cats can run thru it. Well made, seems quite durable, my crew is rough with their stuff and its holding up well. I bought two of them and am very pleased.

This is high quality and very sturdy.

This has been such a good investment. He absolutely loves it. We have a electric ball that rotates itself. He is not that interested - until we put it in the tunnel. Then he is right on it. At first, I thought the holes on the side were a bad thing but, I have seen for myself that the cat absolutely loves them.The build quality is quite good. I am confident that it will last for years.

Il est joli, semble très résistant et mon plus jeune chat de 2 1/2 ans l'adore! Le plus vieux (7 ans) s'y intéresse peu, mais trouve son plaisir en observant le plus jeune s'amuser. Bref, très satisfaite de cet achat qui permet à mon Speedy Gonzales de brûler de l'énergie en cette période de "confinement hivernal" et rend mes nuits un peu plus paisibles. :)
