Nice chair but has issues
This recliner has its pros and cons. Pros: comfortable, good lower back support, nice appearance. Cons: hard to operate foot rest, armrests difficult to zip on, a pillow is needed to support your head if you like to recline and watch TV, read, or type on your phone. Closing the foot rest completely requires a push with your fingers, a kick with your heel, or a hard push with your calves. Older people and people with mobility or strength issues may not be able to close the footrest. The instruction manual says “ask a friend or family member to help you” if you have difficulty. The armrest zippers may work for some users but I was unable to get them to work properly. Thus, the armrests are mainly attached by Velcro adhesive strips I purchased on Amazon. The seller stepped forward and took responsibility when I contacted them through Amazon about the zippers, the difficult foot rest and the need for a pillow. On balance I recommend the chair but it’s not appropriate for everyone. Supposedly, changes (armrests sewn on, new footrest closing mechanism) are being made to the chair to address some of these issues.EDIT: this is a very nice, very comfortable recliner that’s a pleasure to sit in. The footrest closure issue should not dissuade 95% of people from buying it. Same with the armrests, which can be firmly held in place by adhesive Velcro if you need it because you can’t manage the zippers. Especially at the Amazon price, this chair is a bargain. If I had more room, I’d buy a second one in Sandy color. Recommended.

Comfy
It's a nice looking piece. Swivels and rocks. Soft material that hugs. We bought to rock new baby.

Recliner
I was very disappointed in this chair. It's very nice looking but it is very hard to close! I'm 73 and I did not need that! It is a little over stuffed. Unlike that it's higher but you cannot fall asleep in it it's too stiff. And if you want to recline and watch TV you need a pillow behind your head. Why would you even make a recliner that didn't have a handle to close it with?

Really comfortable...but...
I love it,very comfortable, the armrests (that always gets the dirtiest are totally removable and washable, assembly (which is only attaching the back to the base) is essentially easy, just a little tricky. The color is great for me, its definitely a dark teal /black striation material....very comfy! The only caviat.....Its a breeze to recline! Cudos for that, but when you need to go upright, the footrest goes down as it should, but I personally can't push it backwards far enough to have it click into place with my lower legs until I stand and push it in with my foot....I'm sorry to say, I can't recommend this chair to seniors with leg weakness....I'm thinking it'll get easier with repeated use(I hope)....But everything else is better than I expected!

Pay attention to the description. "Over Stuffed" is relevant.
Stuffed is deceiving. The seat cushion is very hard. The arm cushions, though a little softer, are small - to the point of almost not there. The rest of the chair might work out, however, I told my wife to leave it in the family room because I couldn't use it. The mechanics of the chair seem ok - without the footrest out, it's possible with rocking, that one could topple backwards.

cheap for reason
If you want nicely made recliner, functional, and happy to relax in…… this one IS NOT FOR YOU. My fault here….cheap price cheap piece of furniture.

So Nice In Every Way
We love the color, the fabric and the comfort. It was easy to assemble and not heavy to bring into the house. It’s perfect for TV watching or even an afternoon nap. It looks great in our den.

Cute and Comfy
I wanted a nice rocking and reclining chair. I didn't need a massage feature or a heating element. I also wanted something cute and this fits the bill!!! I love the deep teal color!! It is worth noting that I am 5'5" and my heels are just over the edge of the recliner. So, if you're taller, this might not be for you.
