I needed tape for a wound on my backside. My skin is VERY THIN. BEING BEDRIDDEN BECAUSE OF MY DIAGNOSIS OF MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS MY SKIN WAS GETTING VERY RED AND MOST OF THE TAPE OUT THERE IS NOT "SKIN FRIENDLY". THIS STUFF IS WONDERFUL. This is FANTASTIC medical tape! I use it to tape a 13-gallon white GLAD trash bag onto my leg bcz I have a cast on my entire foot & bottom half of my leg. I then cover the bag with a shower cast cover, in order to shower & not get the cast wet at all. This blue tape goes on extremely well, is very effective in sticking to material like bags or cloth, sticks to skin WITHOUT even pulling one little hair off of your skin, WITHOUT leaving ANY residue on your skin, WITHOUT injuring or making any red marks on your skin if you are an allergic person, AND, BEST OF ALL, locks out ALL MOISTURE/STEAM/WATER from getting onto your wound or into or onto your cast. This tape is MADE for people with sensitive skin. You don't need a scissors to cut it. It is SUPER EASY for anyone to just tear at the desired length, and apply. And, you can remove it and reapply it to a different area, if you need to! This tape is WELL WORTH the money! I'm going to have my cast on for about 2-3 months, & I use this tape EVERY day to help me shower. I find that cast covers, alone, are not "waterproof", and water gets inside them. This tape is your answer to ANY wound or medical issue you have. This tape IS waterproof! It's the BEST you can buy!!!

Easy-to-use and removal of tape

Bought this so I could tape my 8-month old’s oxygen tubing to her face overnight (she only has to have oxygen at night) but be able to remove without hurting her face or skin issues from repeated adhesive use. Works great. Sometimes it will come off if the tubing is pulled too hard when rolling over or if she just isn’t wanting to have anything on her face (which is usually the case when she’s awake).Easy to apply. Easy to remove. No skin reactions. Game changer for us.

I have sensitive skin and an allergy to adhesives and based upon the reviews already posted, I had high hopes. My personal opinion is to spend your money on something more useful. This tape is definitely gentle on the skin but that’s basically because it doesn’t adhere to the skin at ALL. I needed it to help hold my foley cath bag in place and hoped it would last at least for a few hours. I didn’t even make it from the front door to the car without it coming completely off. It’s definitely not worth the money spent and paper tape would be much more useful. However, I do realize with age, skin becomes more fragile, so the only reason I would recommend it is if your skin tears easily.

We use this tape to hold a GI tube to my granddaughter's chest. Most medical take is far too sticky and irritates the skin. She has been using a blue tape that is for sensitive skin. I ordered this one thinking it was the same stuff. This is great, but it does not stick well.

I used the tape last night. I had put a cream on my leg for itching. The tape actually stuck and stayed in place all night while I was sleeping. I move around a lot, so I was impressed this morning to see it still in place. Great product!

The silicone medical tape was used to dress a surgical incision as it is made for sensitive skin. I found it to be perfect for me as most other medical tapes leave itchy skin and rashes. This tape did not cause adverse reaction. Recommend having a supply on hand.
