This trail camera and a good lock helped us catch the garden vandal in our senior citizen community garden. Caught em red handed with photos from this camera. It does take patience to look thru the pictures but the area was wide and pictures were clear.

I liked the creative-xp app. But sim hero stopped using it. Can’t log on to my account as the passwords 4 times they sent me don’t work. So I don’t have the numbers I need to program cameras to a different app. I’ve paid for a month for 3 cameras and haven’t gotten any use out of them. Frustrated beyond words. Sim hero used to be ok liked the pictures I got before they shut the app off Not happy. 2/2/22 Still fighting with the online company - they can’t seem to send me a password to change payments - camera was smashed & stolen I bought the steel unit to secure it to a post but never expected them to use a piece of steel to smash the camera so back to another plan - but can’t get sim hero to work with me at all to get the other 3 cameras to work and send pictures to my phone I have tried 6 passwords they have sent me - copied & pasted. They don’t work and when i contact them they just send me another PW that doesn’t work. I’m pretty fed up with Sim HERO. DON’T THINK THEY HAVE TO WORK MUCH AND DON’T CARE.

First it’s definitely an upgrade from regular straps that can be easily cut or just taken off. The steel seems pretty good quality and fairly wide. It would take some effort to cut through them. They don’t have any glare or anything and they fit a decent size tree. Having said all that the “key” to remove the thing is just a regular security bit that is like a star bit with a hole in it. You can buy them anywhere and most diy people have them in their garage (I do) if someone happens up on the camera in the woods they wouldn’t have one but a quick trip home or they could order them and come back and steal my camera. I can’t understand why they couldn’t also have added a hole to put a padlock as well for added security. I’ve literally made one of these keys in the past while trying to take apart an electronic device and it worked perfectly took maybe 10 minutes then I bought a whole set for like 10$ later. so i am not foolish enough to believe it will keep someone out but like i said its definitely an upgrade from a tie down strap. im going to modify it so i can throw a padlock on it just for added security. if someone wants it bad enough they will take it but im going to make them work for it.

Easy to use and has stayed there since I put it on. Its a little hard to carry in the woods without a pack.. you can't just put in a pocket and you do need gloves to put it on so you dont get your hands cut.

I purchased this as a used item. It is in really great condition. While I haven't used it yet, I can tell this is going to be great at stopping the theft of my non cable lock ready trail camera. Solid steel strap and sturdy locking mechanism.
