It does what it’s suppose to. When putting this in be aware it will have a small gap between the rim and your sink but it still stops the water from going down when needed. Because of the small gap not all the water goes down, so you might need to lift it up after any food in the sink is gone to get rid of what’s left.

I thought it was a great idea threw away box and then it doesn’t fit into my sink!!Can I return it without box it came in

I measured the drain and it was the correct width, but mine, that I figured was standard is not deep enough to use this in. I like the idea of this, but my drain needs to be deeper. i don't think I have ever had a drain that was any different. It fit in the disposal side but didn't seal the drain. And who needs one over your disposal? I am returning.

This capture most of the dirt. It is easy to clean and easy to remove. The material is seem sturdy and it makes sure it filters what goes through the sink

Diameter of the base that fits inside the drain is too large, so it doesn't work. I returned it.

This sink strainer works great. Catches every bit of unwanted debris, and works great as a plunger by simply depressing the center stop in order to fill the sink with water instead of having to remove the strainer assy.
