A best friend where you least expect it
I had to laugh when I was reading this book, Moose and Goose sound just like siblings!Everything is a competition between Moose and Goose, they are rivals don’t you know. It doesn’t matter what the activity is, each of them think they are better than the other. The problem is that this unfriendly competition often leads to injuries, stomach aches from eating too many sweets then bumps and bruises from bicycle accidents. One day Moose and Goose go a little too far, they each decide to make a bigger and taller home for themselves. Their competitiveness leads to their downfall (literally!) when in the middle of construction their homes fall down to the sea. With frustrations at an all time high, Moose and Goose are fighting worse than ever. As we all know, fighting doesn’t solve anything. Soon the two of them are tired out from arguing and with nothing else to do they finally decide to work together and get out of the deep ditch they put themselves in.A wonderful, silly, and delightful book about working together and finding a best friend in the most unlikely of places. Moose and Goose are adorable characters and I love how their feelings for each other go from one extreme to the other. I will definitely be pulling this story out when my kids are having a hard time getting along.
