James Dean: The Complete Collection [East Of Eden/Rebel Without A Cause/Giant] [Blu-ray] [1955] [2017] [Region Free]

I would like to confirm that the film Giant runs for 3 hrs 21 mins and not 108 minutes as stated on the box cover.The wrong information nearly put me off buying the film but given the excellent value for money price of 15 pounds for three films I was prepared to take a chance.The discs come with nine dubbed languages and 19 different subtitles plus a behind the scenes documentary.The other two excellent films are well worth a look and features many experienced actors in addition to James Dean.I have read a number of Steinbeck novels and find film adaptions of his works interesting but for a critical review for these films I would refer you to websites such as Rotten Tomatoes.This box set is terrific value for moneyI hope Amazon correct the product information regarding the film Giant .That said the prime responsibility lies with Warner's Home Video.

I have seen these three movies many times over the years and every time they don't fail to satisfy. Timeless classic gems and perfect specimens of what good cinematograph should be about. James Dean’s unexpected and untimely death was a real loss to what would have been a career of many more quality movies. Short career indeed but thanks to the late Elia Kazan who found him and promoted him despite many protestations for his rebellious behaviour and acting style.
