I like the wide foot mat. The mat allows a slight flexibility which mimics natural ankle movement while walking. There's much less strain on my wrist and forearm than there is when using a rigid cane. It was easy to adjust the height. Folded, it packs conveniently into a suitcase or tote bag, less so into a large purse. I like that it can stand by itself while I get my keys, but it does sometimes fall over. I wish it had a strap so that I could avoid bending to retrieve it. I like the butterfly design on the shaft and the grip handle. The LED light did not work. I've asked to replace that. I use it to walk a few blocks, and to walk across a park lawn that is reasonably level.

Useful walking cane and relatively easy to fold and unfold. Subtracted one star because of two minor defects. One is the bag that you are supposed to use to contain the cane when folded up is a cheap plastic and tore almost immediately and is now useless. The other is the light in the handle. It stopped working almost immediately. I thought it might be the batteries, although that seemed unlikely. But when I started to turn the turn the top of the battery container to try to replace the batteries, the light went on; when I turned it a bit more, the light went off. I left it in a position where the light stayed on. But the light is fairly useless even when on. It points horizontally--straight ahead, but I need it to show the ground where I am going to walk, so I can see steps or curbs or other obstacles on the ground. Not being able to use the light for that purpose limits its value to close to zero.The product is still worth 4 stars, but the extra cost for the light and bag is mostly a waste.

I didn't think the light worked at first. You must be careful not to tighten down the battery compartment too much. It would also be better if the light fanned out so you could see the ground in front of you!Sturdy, pretty, good adjustments but if you're short it may not be short enough. I'm 5'5". It's only short enough if I'm wearing good sneakers.

It’s a great sturdy cane I’m 36 I use it everywhere I go and it was a great bit and the light works great

If I have to use a cane, it has to be pretty and this is. Because I am short (5’1”) several inches had to be sawed off even when adjusted to its lowest setting. It was also supposed to come with a plain rubber (as opposed to the stand-up tip) but I soon realized I prefer the stand-up tip so let it go.
