Initially discovered that I did not have the updated Jetta harness needed for my Car, the two that it came with was not right - as it says int he product description. $15 later I had the right harness and the installation ended up being plug an display. All functions worked immediately, connected to my phone for Wireless Android Auto, and completely interfaced with Car computer for door sensors, speed etc. Selecting reverse gear brought up the camera and turning the wheel updates the lines on the screen!I literally plugged it in per the instructions, and it worked!I would expect a unit like this with these interfaces to be much more expensive.

I have installed aftermarket stereos and have wired my own aftermarket speakers subs and amps in plenty of vehicles. Also I do electrical work for my job. So I have an adept knowledge when it comes to installation. With this you get what you paid for. The Bluetooth decides when it wants to work. It randomly disconnects and you get no audio from it. In order for it to function again I have to turn the vehicle off and wait a whole minute for it to truly power off. When it comes back on you have to go thru multiple steps just to get CarPlay to turn on. I selected the right setting so it should auto connect and once again it’s hit or miss. Instead of hopping in my car and moving I’m sitting for like 5-10 mins just to get CarPlay to start. The back up camera it came with does not work. I wired it correctly and with the reverse back up light and ground it’s all static and does not function. The microphone it came with just fell apart as I took it out its packaging. This product is a major headache. It has a lot of “extras” that are completely useless or don’t function correctly. I’d rather spend more money for a better higher quality unit. Now who knows how long I have to wait to get a refund for this product. The only good this is it does look like a factory radio and lights up red with the light. Other than that, dont waste your time.

I wish i took pictures but if you look at the wiring diagram and take the "ACC" wire cut it in half and connect a switch to it and put the switch to the off position the tablet will work 100% with the key ignition. U can just tuck the switch behind the radio and the unit stays off when the car is off and turns on when u put the car into acc. Stupid but it works 🤷. Hopefully this helped some people who saw this.

its alright for the money i guess id get something else though. Its slow and laggy and the bluetooth audio glitch out sometimes

The stereo is extremely simple to install and a true plug-and-play for our VW. The problem is with the power design and with the Bluetooth connectivity. The wiring is such that the stereo doesn’t turn off unless you manually push the button. The Bluetooth problem is common among all the cheap Android stereos especially with Apple products. The Z-link program often syncs terribly or not at all and it’s completely random. We have overcome these issues by remembering to turn the stereo off and by using the USB AUX connection instead of Bluetooth. Overall it is a descent radio. Update: I upgraded this review by one star. The stereo is still working good and I don't plan to replace it unless there is a problem. The vendor did reach out and offer a refund based on my first review but I never received the refund so I'm not sure how much I trust the reply.

I ordered the stereo to give my 2015 Beetle an update and it looks amazing!The screen itself works perfectly, no delays, user friendly, doesn’t look cheap, has Bluetooth, and I was surprised to see it also came with a backup camera! I can also watch YouTube on it when I’m parked and pick my own screen saver if I ever needed to.I did pay a professional to install it so I can’t comment on that but I can say I wish I had bought it sooner than stressing over it being legit or not.

If I could give this half a star I would. Worked ok for a week, now it just barely holds on. The thing connects to Bluetooth, takes a whole 3 minutes to do anything with android auto, and even then its not guaranteed to stay connected. it randomly restarts, shuts down, cuts out sound like a skipping CD. It'll play music from my phone but not respond to anything on the screen. It froze my phone completely once. I know its not my phone, I have a Galaxy s24, so its not that. I do not recommend this at all. The thing barely works, and if i could, id get my money back.
