A great bag for the price
Bought this for my son who is preparing for his first backpacking trip with his scout troop. Scout leaders looked it over and were impressed with quality and features compared to more expensive packs. One downside that was pointed out was the sleeping bag zipper on the bottom is not a separate compartment and is open to the main storage area. This shouldn’t have many practical implications but is different from other packs.

Conquered Europe with the 65
An excellent, no-nonsense backpack that is NOT a budget buster.I spent a month touring Europe during the 2024 Summer Olympics and took this pack everywhere. Literally everywhere. When packed responsibly, the 65 could pass for a carry on bag and saved us hundreds in checked bag fees. The top and bottom access points make it pretty easy to grab what you need on the fly. Enough points on the exterior to clip on accessories. Great buy!

Nice light minimalist pack
I bought this bag because I liked the simple design and colors. Here are a couple observations that I made just after opening the package...CONS: I am not a fan of the Velcro shoulder strap adjustment system. I don't know why I personally would feel better if the shoulder straps were fastened to the bag somehow instead of being able to adjust their hight with the Velcro back piece. It probably works fine but I may sew it with a leatherstitcher so it is stationary after I find my preferred setting. Also the straps that lead up to the lid of the pack originate in the side-pockets. I don't like this for some reason and will be cutting them to relocate with the bottom strap system or just see them the another part of the bag.The bottom of the bag may deteriorate quick as the entire pack is made out of the same material all over. There is no different kind of extra protective material to prevent the ground bottom to withstand small abrasions over time and will most likely form tears.PROS: Other than the small details i didn't appreciate about the pack which can be modified or prevented with proper use and care, I found this pack to be fairly lightweight, excellent minimalist design and beautiful in appearance. It should work fine for all kinds of outdoor adventures and would even be comfortable as a day pack as it has a good and adjustable ergonomic design.

Excellent daypack
I love this backpack. I added elastic paracord to the front to shove jackets and hoodies in. The water bottle holders have excellent bottle retention- I carry two 24oz stainless bottles most of the time.

Very good fit for me.
Use back pack on hiking overnight in mountains.Really like Kelty bags. Only thing I didn't care for was the top and bottom storage compartments Only have a single one directional zipper, would like to have two zippers that meet in middle. Of course it will need to have clip to attach the two zippers together to keep them from separating

Total junk
This pack is a joke. I just ordered this in the 65 model and received it today, adjusted it to the 21 inch marks on the torso adjustment, filled it with 22lbs of gear, went to pick it up and put it on my back and that ridiculously small amount of poor quality velcro holding the straps on the pack instantly ripped free. Needless to say, this pack is an automatic return. The rest of pack is decent, i like the thin, not cheap and cushy, fairly ridged, closed cell foam waist belt and shoulder straps that amazingly fit my 6-1 220 lb frame (virtually no other pack maker makes straps that fit my chest). Too bad this pack is a total piece. How long has Kelty been making backpacking gear? 40 years? And this design flaw made it out into production and retail sales for how long? I've been backpacking for about 33 years. The second i saw how they designed the torso adjustment i had an instant doubt in whether that would hold. How did this make it out into the world? Why am i having to write this comment and be troubled with taking this hunk of junk down to the UPS drop on Monday which is going to take an hour out of my day? And then they advertise this as being the only pack good enough to put Asher's name on. Nah...this pack isn't good enough to wipe with.

Bien pero esperaba un poco más
Práctica y cómoda, pero esperaba un poco más en tema de materiales, que aclaro, se siente de calidad, pero no tanto como en otros modelos de la marca
